The satisfying ding of the elevator indicates that you have reached your floor. The doors slide open and you hurriedly make your way through the long hallway, towards the last door. Sometimes it feels so frustrating that your shared apartment is the last one in this long ass hallway.

And shared an apartment because you share it with your childhood friend, Park Jimin.

Well the word 'friends' would be an overstatement because you two are not really that friendly with each other.

Now you must arise the question 'then why are you two sharing an apartment together?' Well the scenario is something like this...In your hometown, both of your parents houses are opposite to each other. The street is the only thing which divides the two houses and families. Like literally, the friendship between your parents and his parents is furiously close and way too good.

Jimin is only a year older than you so realistically back in the time, he was the first one to move out from your hometown to Seoul for the university, he didn't want to stay in the dormitories so his father rented an apartment for him.

Ok cool right?

But no, the problem arises the next year when you get selected to the same university as him and the time to move to Seoul comes. Your parents also didn't want you to stay in the university dormitories so they said they rented an apartment for you too.

But the problem begins on the weekend when Jimin visited home and both of your families had dinner together, their discussion got a ridiculous turn and it ended up you and Jimin sharing an apartment together, in their words 'for both of your safety in a new unknown city'.

At first you and Jimin both protested but their furious sentence diminished the sparks of your meek protest in some minutes.

It didn't cause that much of a problem because you and him are not that close friends or neither are enemies. From your childhood to teenage years you both simply just used to ignore each other, he had his group of friends and you had yours. During family dinners or weekends spent together, he just used to talk to you the bare minimum and so as you.

But as you two started to stay together something definitely changed in the past one year. There is a teeny tiny sprout of a real friendship that grew between him and you, not that great buddy-buddy but the type where you can hold a decent conversation without being awkward or watching a movie with him in the common living room comfortably.

But something grew furiously big at the speed of light and still growing, that is your fat crush on Jimin. Yes when you were staying in your hometown you didn't notice him that much or didn't give much thinking about him but ever since you started to live in the same apartment, you did notice some things.

Like when he comes back from the gym or his dance classes, all sweaty and gulp down the whole bottle of water and search for you to ask if what you're up to, when he cooks sometimes and ask you if you want to eat with him or the times when he wants to pull an all nighter with you to study and falls asleep while studying with you, you would inspect his angelic face for as long as you want and fall in deeper with how perfect of a human being he is. It's not only physical attraction but the way he always includes you in his daily life.
