Everyone was sitting in complete silence as Miss Riko and I were standing next to each other in front of the boys who were all looking gloomy, "there's really nothing that i can do, I have no-huh" I thought and looked at Miss Riko who is blushing "what's she flustered about?" I continued thinking until I see her fist shaking, I just fold my arms "Listen, you guys...-" Hyuga cuts Miss Riko off "Yeah, it's okay really" both Miss Riko and I turned to look at him "I can tell when you're about to say something stupid" Hyuga says leaving Miss Riko to still blush
"Yeah, I couldn't have said it better myself" I said with a soft giggle "Read the room...I'm glad you wanna cheer us up but honestly I'm not even able to imagine us winning right now" Hyuga continues, I go and stand in front of Kagami as the team was talking to Kuroko
"You doing alright?" I asked nicely, he looks another way "I don't know, you tell me? Did it look like I was having fun out there?" He responds "Whether it was fun or not, that last pass got you fired up right?" I said making him look at me, as I smirked down at him "Oh? Intrigued are we? Interesting..." I said and turned my head to Kuroko as I heard him say something that caught my attention
"After all, even if we were trailing by a 100 points there's a slight chance, a Meteor would strike the other team's bench in the last second" Kuroko said leaving everyone to groan at his words, I just slide back to Miss Riko and whispered to her "You sure, he ain't stupid like this one over there?" I asked while I nodded my head to Kagami but before she could answer "You're right" Izuki agrees so did the rest of the second year's especially Miss Riko but except Hyuga "Never mind, I guess stupidity runs in the team " I whispered back leaving Miss Riko to glare at me as I playfully winked at her as Hyuga pitched in
"Are you serious? There is no meteor, the very thought is ridiculous" Hyuga says as they discuss the possibilities, my focus was on Kagami, "That aura...that colour that was around him was the same aura I had on that day" I thought, "Let's go!" I hear Hyuga yell jumping me out of my thoughts

"Kuroko?" I call out for him and he stops what he's doing and looks at me "Yes, Y/n?" He says and I gasped "You called me 'Y/n' " I said in a gushy voice, he looks at me confused "I thought you didn't like me calling you 'Miss Y/n', I can change it bac-" I cut him off by sshing him "Ssshh, no need to ruin the progress now" I say walking up to him, "You think you can stay on the bench for a while, I just need to figure this new plan out" I say with a soft tone and Kuroko nods and sits out from the beginning of the third quarter
