Hi everyone, here is the next part

I am quick this time 😁

Hope you all are liking the story, please do let me know what do you feel about dev and Manasa

Okay guys happy Reading!

Manasa's POV

We walked together toward the bus stop. Dev had a bus to Bangalore at 10 p.m., and it was already 8 p.m., yet he was still here with me, and on top of that, he hadn't packed his bag yet.

"I think we should walk a little faster," I said, picking up the pace.

"Why?" he asked, catching hold of my hand and slowing me down.

"You'll be late and miss the bus," I said, exasperated as if he were clueless.

"Arrey baba, I still have 2 hours! 2 hours!" he said as if he had two long days.

"You're staying back; I know it for sure," I said, looking at him. He smiled.

"Nope, not staying back at any cost. They'll remove me from my job, and then I'll be jobless, and your papa won't give me your hand in marriage," he said, making a fake sad expression, which made me giggle like a schoolgirl. Seeing me laugh, he smiled too.

"To save your job, you should move fast," I said, quickening my steps.

"Arrey, I have plenty of time. It hardly takes 5 minutes from my place to the bus stop. I'll be on time, don't worry," he said, slowing me down again.

Finally, we reached a nearby bus stop where he could catch a local bus to his home. We sat next to each other as my legs ached from walking so long.

"Are you sure Varsha will come quickly? If not, I can drop you home," he said. I gave him a look, and he stopped. Bhaiya saab was getting late and still wanted to drop me home.

"Call her," he said, pointing at my phone.

Actually, Varsha's office was nearby, and knowing I was here, she wanted to pick me up and drop me home so she could talk about her boyfriend, who was ignoring her.

"She'll come. You get into your bus," I said, looking at the bus that stopped in front of us.

"What's your bus number?" I asked, glancing at the bus.

"5G," he said, and I nodded, looking for the bus.

"Let's take a photo," he said, and I turned to him. Yeah, how could we forget to capture a memory of today?

I opened my camera and saw us on the screen. He was adjusting his hair—boys and their obsession with their hair. He then looked at the camera, and I clicked a picture. When I saw the photo, I smiled wide. We looked beautiful together.

"Send it to me later, okay?" he said, and I nodded.

"There comes your bus," I said, pointing at the 5G bus approaching us. He looked at it and then at me.

"I'll go in the next one," he said, making me frown.

"Why?" I questioned him.

"Hmm, it's crowded," he said, and I nodded.

"Don't forget to give these to your mumma," he said, pointing to the bag I had next to me. Dev had brought cookies and cupcakes for Mumma, Papa, and Srishti as we walked along the roads.

"Yes, I'll tell her her son-in-law loves her too, okay?" I said, and he smiled.

"There's another 5G bus," I said, trying to get up with the bag so I could give him a nice goodbye. But he pulled me back down to sit.

"I'll go in the next one," he said, making me frown at him. I knew what he was doing. I felt immense happiness knowing that someone wanted to stay with me so much. It brought the greatest joy.

"See, another one is here," I said, pointing to the next bus just behind this one.

"I'll go in an AC bus. By the way, why are you so desperate to send me away?" he said with a pout. Aww, this cutie.

"I don't want to send you away. I just don't want you to miss your bus," I said.

"I won't. Now tell me, how was your first-ever date?" he asked, looking into my eyes. I smiled.

"Perfect," I said shyly, and he gave me his mesmerizing smile, making my heart flutter.

"See, your AC bus is here," I said again, and now he just looked on.

"Next one," he said, and I blushed seeing this man. No one had ever done this for me.

We kept talking, and I noticed some aunties looking at us as if we were having sex in public. Aunties and their judgmental looks.

Another bus arrived, and it was already 9 p.m. I thought he should get into this one.

"Dev, it's 9 already. Just get into this one," I said, and he sighed, getting up. I got up with him.

He turned towards me, looking like he was contemplating something. Then he finally moved closer to me, making my breath hitch. He wrapped his arms around me, engulfing me in his embrace.

"I enjoyed today. Thank you," he whispered, still hugging me.

"Me too," I replied. Then he broke the hug and smiled.

The bus stopped, and he got into it, turning to see me. I walked nearer to the bus to see him. We kept looking at each other. As the bus started, I waved goodbye, and he did too. Until the bus was out of sight, I kept waving. As I watched Dev's bus disappear into the distance, a warm feeling spread through me. I couldn't stop smiling. Our first date was perfect, and he made it even more special by delaying his departure just to spend more time with me. I loved how he didn't rush, even though he had a bus to catch. His playful excuses to stay a little longer showed how much he cared.

I kept replaying moments from our evening—the way he held my hand, his silly jokes, the picture we took together. He looked so happy, and that made me happy too. I felt a sense of comfort and excitement about our future. The way he hugged me before leaving made my heart flutter. No one had ever made me feel so special.

As I waited for Varsha to pick me up, I realized how lucky I was to have someone like Dev in my life. He was kind, funny, and cared about me deeply. Today was just the beginning, and I couldn't wait to see where our journey would take us.

Dev's POV

As I boarded the bus, I sat on the seat next to window and I couldn't stop smiling. Today's day with Manasa had been perfect, and my heart felt full. I kept replaying every moment in my mind, when ticket conductor has come and I took a ticket

And again I was lost in my thoughts about today, Manasa looked stunning in her kurti. I loved her enthusiasm about food, actually, everything about her made her endearing. When she offered me a bite of her sandwich, it caught me by surprise. It felt intimate, and I noticed she blushed when I accepted. I couldn't help but smile recalling her embarrassed face. As we walked to the bus stop, I didn't want the day to end. I just wanted to spend more time with her. Her concern for me catching the bus was sweet, but I wanted to make sure she knew how much I enjoyed our time together.

The hug before getting on the bus was the highlight of the day. Holding her close and hearing her say she enjoyed the date was everything I needed. It was hard to say goodbye.

I quickly opened my WhatsApp and messaged her

Me: I enjoyed today a lot, thank you for making it special

I had closed my phone and looked out of the window to see the busy city. I will this
