It was a beautiful day at Nerima University where the main character, Kazuya, strolled around with his new girlfriend, Mami Nanami. He was ecstatic. Their afternoon schedules were open since classes ended for them around 3 pm.

As they walked past a group of students from the Classical music department, Mami stopped and smiled.

Kazuya: Oh, I-I thought we were going on a date by ourselves, hehe. But if you wanna bring some of your friends with us, I don't mind.
She chuckled.
Mami: No, it's not like that~.
She stumbled slightly, almost like her hips gave out.
Kazuya: Mimi-chan, you ok?
Mimi: Yeah, I'm all good! Ah~, Here you are.
Kazuya was initially confused at Mami almost tackling one of the students in the bundle and hugging him from behind.
Kazuya: (Huh?)
The student in question was taller than he was, had broader shoulders, a smoother complexion alongside longer hair on the edges and back.
???: Oh, was that right now?
The rest of his buddies were all surprised at the sudden appearance of a beautiful girl hugging him from behind.
Kazuya: Mami, what's going on here?
Mami: Hm? Oh right.
With the same nonchalant, cheerful, and happy expression everyone else saw her in, she addressed her 'boyfriend.'
Mami: I'm sorry! I fell in love with someone else. Let's break up. Isn't that right, Ki~yo~ta~ka?
The student studying classical music with his proficiency in Piano, turned around. In contrast to Mami's fake smile and exaggerated emotions, he was stone-faced.
