Si had cut the small vacation short. I refused to talk but gave in when it came to eating due to Si's pleading. Si had kept what happened under wraps which I was thankful for. The whole situation was hard for me to understand. I loved Lei, he was a good friend to me. Now, whenever I think about him, I get chills. He selfishly ignored my protests and absorbed in his own pain, he was willing to hurt me. Worst part was: I couldn't fight him. I was helpless against him.

Si had been a surprisingly good support system. He insisted I stay with him at his house, but I refused. So he came up with the great idea of him staying with Lan Yuan and I. Lan Yuan forced him to sleep on the couch as she slept with me.

I had to admit knowing he was here made me feel more secure, but it also made Lan Yuan and I feel very self conscious. We both remembered Si was a popular person, especially in school. We now had to make an effort to look decent at all times.

After two weeks, Lan Yuan had finally annoyed him enough to where he would only visit during the day and go home every night. At school, if Lei so much as looked in my direction, Si or Lan Yuan would block his vision. Lan Yuan deleted his number from my phone so I couldn't contact him.

Rumors had spread around school regarding why Lei wasn't hanging out with F4 anymore. Shancai was the main name within these rumors. Lei had apparently started spending more time with her after the trip. Most people thought of it as a betrayal, given Si liked her first. A rift between F4 had been created, one that may not be able to heal.

In the club room, Si assisted me with my econ homework. He had gotten into another altercation with Lei and wanted us to be alone. Lan Yuan was with us, flipping through a fashion magazine. "I wish I had Liu Wen's features. Look at her bone structure. Tsk tsk, I could never. How can people be blessed with good looks, fame, and money? Unbelievable." She sighed heavily.

I looked her way, distracted with her ranting, "Yuan, you're very pretty. Don't be jealous."

"Then why am I single?" she huffed.

"Because you act like that." Si smirked. I nudged him with my knee and sent him a warning glance.

"You never go out, Yuan. If you did, maybe you'd meet someone." I suggested.

"No one would ever compare to Jackson Wang." Lan Yuan pouted more.

"Then I think your standards are too high. You're a computer science major. I don't think you'd have a lot in common." I realized.

"Plus, he's short." Si shrugged before I nudged him again.

"How am I single one? Chen Ai never steered toward boys until she met you. You've ruined my life Daoming Si. You've ruined my life, crushed my dreams, and stolen my best friend." Lan Yuan ranted before storming out.

Si looked at me in confusion but I just shrugged. That was just the way Lan Yuan was. I hesitated before asking Si, "will you ever forgive Lei?"

Si looked at me shocked, "how could you ask that? After what he did to you, I'd rather lose my good looks."
