Jumping on Erick's bike before the last period of school is exhilarating. I don't know if I liked all the attention I got today though. It was almost like I didn't get any time to myself. My classwork is surely going to tank after this episode. I inwardly cringe and wonder if being the bad girl on the back of some new dudes bike is worth losing my grade point average that could help me get into a good college so I can get out of my father's house. Fuck I'm to wrapped up in it I'm going to enjoy this bike ride. I force myself to lift my head higher. I know why I was having them thoughts.
He was watching me all day today with a disappointed look on his face. Why didn't he act on it though? In any case at least now I will have a boyfriend so I can forget about Darian. Erick pulls off to the side of the road and points towards a narrow path "Over there it heads down to a dock on the river." I start towards it enjoying the adventure."Your awfully quiet." he says. "I'm taking in our surroundings, its beautiful here. How did you find this place?" "My mother used to take me to the dock, now I just come here to think." he answers. Before I have time to react he grabs me by my waist throws me over his shoulder and jumps into the water. I laugh uncontrollably. My clothes are still on, my phone is fucked, my eyes bulge because the weights on my shoes making it almost impossible to swim. I duck under water and fight with them to take them off, leaving them to the lake and swimming up for air. "KAMETHA, kametha. Shit are you ok? Damn, fuck I didn't mean to." he freaks out as soon as my head is above water. "Its ok, everything's ok. Calm down, Im fine." I try to console him but hes having none of it. He brings me to the bank edge checking me over what has to be inch by inch, and even rubbing my ankles and feet. He rolls my ankle this way and that making sure the weight the water caused them to have didn't somehow roll my ankle. It didn't but the gesture of a man checking me over has me almost swooning. We lay there for what feels like ages just watching the clouds go by. By time I get home, I flop right into bed forgetting anything to do with school.
My alarm sounds in the morning and I chuck it across the room. The lake has got my body to depleted to go anywhere today. I call the school and tell them I will be missing today.

Darian
The school day drags on and on. I haven't seen her yet. I'm worried. What happened she never misses a day. She's messing up her chances with college with this rebel streak she has going on. By the last period, I'm overcome with worry and text Erick.
Darian: What happen yesterday? She isn't at school today.
Erick: I got rid of those thigh high leather boots. She just might be a little water logged. Let her rest.
Darian: You didn't..
Erick: I also took care of any numbers of the guys she was collecting in her phone, your welcome...
Darian: You threw her in???
Erick: Clothes, Shoes, Phone, and all.
Darian: She ever want to see you again after that?
Erick: Of course she does. She just thinks I have a free spirit and will probably not carry her phone with her to close to water or learn to throw it when I'm near.
Darian: I got to get her to work more at her schooling she's blown everything off this week at school.
Erick: I got you

I woke up the next morning so excited to see if Erick would try to see me again. Debating what to wear since the only reason he started talking to me was my bad girl outfit. I decided I have to stick with it. I put some fuck me red high heels on some leather pants and a red crop top. I finish the look by tying my hair up with a red hair scarf and black lipstick. Since I'm following a bad girl vibe instead of picking my car keys up I steal my brother's keys to his black Ducati. He only taught me to ride once for emergencies.
I feel the power of the bike as soon as I get it past my family's gates. I feel so free losing myself to the experience of riding. I don't know why I haven't done this sooner. The thrill of flying down the street catches hold of me. I don't even know when I started accelerating but I look down for a split second and the shock of how fast I'm going and the nerves hitting seizes me. I lose control so fast. One glance and it changes the whole situation. My ears are ringing. I'm still flying across the street, just no longer on the bike. Everything seems to be in slow motion as I collide with the ground and tumble a few times before coming to a stop. I blink a few times, not able to take in my surroundings. I'm losing consciousness. I hear someone screaming but I don't know who. My head lulls as I feel strong arms lift me off the ground right before I pass out.
