6:30 P.M. Spencer's House
——————————————"And now introducing M-Tech's latest intervention...the Robo-Diva!" The TV commercial said as a box with a doll in it appeared on the screen.
"Ooooh! Spencer! I need one of those!!" My sister, Lucy, said excitedly. "She's like Barbie, but bigger and...tech-y"
"Yeah good luck begging mom and dad to get you one of those rust-buckets" I groaned at my sister's request. "The thing costs a lot of money. I don't think any of us could afford one."
"Fine." Lucy groaned. "But...it's like a best friend who's...a robot who loves fashion!"
I sighed and rolled my eyes, getting on my phone. Only to see a message from my friends, Luke and Avery.
Group chat:
———————Avery: Hey, Spence! Have you seen the ads for Robo-Diva?!
Spencer: Yeah, Lucy really wants one.
Luke: I don't blame her. She's smokin'.
Spencer: Luke, I wouldn't be surprised if you bought one.
Luke: I have the money.
I shut off my phone before Luke could say anything else. Sure he was my best friend, but he was a bit weird. I was then left there with my thoughts, suddenly going upstairs and booting up my computer.
7:04 P.M. Spencer's Room

"Let's see, it's called the Robo-Diva...how much for one?" I thought, typing. I looked through a few websites and found one already on sale on Ebuy.I began reading the description and began getting unsettled. It read, "I DONT CARE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU PAY JUST TAKE HER. SHE'S TERRIFYING." While I was still unsettled, I was quite intrigued. I got out my phone once again.
Avery & Spencer's Messages
———————————————Spencer: Hey, man. Do you happen to know if ghosts possess robots?
Avery: No? I've never heard of a robot getting possessed by a ghost...maybe a doll, but never robot. Why, do you have some secret robot I don't know about?
Spencer: No, I'm gonna buy a Robo-Diva off of Ebuy. The description says she's terrifying.
Avery: Maybe it just malfunctioned. I can take a look at it whenever it gets to your house, I can bring my tools, and in case it's actually a ghost, my EVP.
Spencer: Alright, cool. Thanks.
I clicked on the button to buy it and waited for it to arrive. I suddenly began feeling uneasy, but I just brushed it off.
