Chapter 11

We are now on the way to the Cullen's, I'm in the back of the seat of the "Are we guys really sure about this?" I asked them once again nervously, Stile's looks in the mirror "calm down Mitch, everything is gonna be okay" he assures me "and your grandfather is there, no one's gonna bite you" Scott added up, I nervously bite my lip, as Stiles still drives on

There's different vampire clans gather at the Cullens home. Each of them was won over. Each was made to see. Carlisle convinced his Irish friends to make the journey to Forks. Although the Cullen's were grateful for their help, their thirst for human blood complicated the situation. The nomads Rosalie and Emmett sent were even more unpredictable. Especially Peter who had fought alongside Jasper as a newborn.

As Jacob looks around the room at all the vampires "Lotta red eyes around here" Jacob said "They agreed not to hunt in the area" Bella told him "But they'll feed somewhere" he responds

As more vampires set foot in their territory, more Quileutes turned. Their nature compelling them to join the pack. Jacob runs into a newly turned wolf in the woods "Hey, easy there. Hey! It's all right. You're gonna be okay" Jacob said as he trying to calm the boy

Finally, Carlisle and Esme returned with our last witness "How many came?" Carlisle asked Edward "Eighteen. You have some good friends" he replies "And Alice?" Esme asked, Bella shakes her head indicating that Alice has still not returned, Esme hugs Bella

"We'll all be on Aro's list now. Centuries on the run. That's what you've brought me. Some friend, Carlisle" Alistair said "Alistair, come meet everyone" Carlisle inviting him "I already told you, if it comes to a fight, I won't stand against the Volturi" he said to Carlisle "It won't come to a fight" trying to defend himself "I'll be in the attic" as Alistair jumps up onto the roof and walks off "He's not a people person" Esme told everyone

The Cullen's opened their home to 18 vampires, but Carlisle still hoping Mitch, Stiles and Scott to come. Many with gifts of their own. Zafrina had power over the mind. She could make anyone see what she wanted them to.

Bella watches as Zafrina makes Edward see something in the forest "If she weren't holding my hand right now, I could swear this was real" Edward said "I don't see anything" Bella said confusingly

"Edward, you didn't tell me your wife is a shield" Eleazar said to Edward "What's a shield?" Bella asked him, Edward suddenly understands and smiles "The ones I've met are so different" Edward said proudly "It's a defensive talent" Eleazar tells them "It's why I couldn't read your mind, even before. It's why Aro couldn't" Edward now realize why "You have a very powerful gift" Eleazar said

Suddenly Kate takes Bella's hand "Oh, yeah, she's a shield, all right. Shoulda put her on her ass" Kate said "Or your voltage has been exaggerated" Garrett said, it looks like he's looking down on Kate's power "Maybe it only works on the weak" Kate said challenging him, Kate puts her hand up, daring Garrett to try and touch her "Garrett, I wouldn't" Carlisle warned him, but Garrett touches his finger to Kate's hand and he's instantly electrocuted and falls to the ground "You are an amazing woman" Garrett amazingly said to her

As they busy themselves talking, they heard some voices arguing they turned their on the sound of the voice "okay guys, if we didn't still find their house in ten minutes we're going back to Stiles jeep" they heard Mitch said, Carlisle smile's when he heard her granddaughter's voice

"There's no point of going back Mitch, cause we already near, I already can smell them" Scott said her "that's great to hear, Mitch can you tell your step-grandma to cook for us cause I'm reall" Stiles said "Just shut up both of you" Mitch scolded them

The three of them stops walking when they realize they already arrived on the Cullen's house, they noticed all of them are vampires, Carlisle comes to them and hugs Mitch and said "thank you taking this a consideration" Mitch pat his back awkwardly "okay now, stop hugging me" she said, Carlisle let go Mitch and she noticed Jacob

Jacob is teaching some young Quileutes how to control themselves when they turn into wolves "Now, you guys can do some serious damage. Which is why you'll need to control your phasing. If your mom pisses you off, you don't want to tear her head off" he instructed the newly transformed wolf

Suddenly Jacob stops as he hears something in the woods "Whoever's coming wasn't invited" he said

Jacob turns into a wolf and runs into the forest with the young wolves following him, they catch up and chase after two vampires who jump up some trees and then jump down and sit on some rocks mocking the wolves when Carlisle and the other vampire find them

"Vladimir, Stefan, you're a long way from home" Carlisle said to them "What are they doing here?" Kate asked them

"We heard the Volturi were moving against you. But that you would not stand alone" Vladimir said on they heard "We didn't do what we were accused of" Carlisle explains to them "We do not care what you did, Carlisle" Vladimir said "We have been waiting a millennium for the ltalian scum to be challenged" Stefan added up "It's not our plan to fight the Volturi" Carlisle announce to the both of them

"Shame. Aro's witnesses will be so disappointed" Vladimir informs them "They enjoy a good fight" Stefan also said "Aro's witnesses?" Eleazar ask curiously

"Aww. Still hoping they'll listen?" Vladimir said "When Aro wants someone from a coven it's never long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime" Eleazar said to them

"So he's done this before?" Bella asked him "It happens so rarely, I never realized it was a pattern" Eleazar said

"Apparently he always pardons one person whose thoughts he claims are repentant" Carlisle said "This person always has an ability. And they're always given a place with the Guard" Eleazar said "This is all about Alice. He has no one like her" Edward said "Which is why she left" Bella added up

"Why does he need witnesses?" Emmett asked 'To spread the word that justice has been served. After he slaughters an entire coven" Alistair answered him

"Benjamin, Tia, we're leaving" Amun announced to the both of them but they didn't move

"And where will you go? What makes you think they'll be satisfied with Alice? What's to stop them from going after Benjamin next? Or Zafrina or Kate or anyone else with a gift? Or most especially Mitch? Anyone they want. Their goal isn't punishment, it's power. It's acquisition. Carlisle might not ask you to fight, but I will. For the sake of my family. But also for yours. And for the way you want to live" Edward said, when Mitch heard her name all the thought rushing through her mind

There's a moment of silence as the vampires look at each other, then Jacob stands "The packs will fight. We've never been afraid of vampires" he announce, the also Delani's stand "We will fight" Tanya also said "This won't be the first time I fought a king's rule" Garrett said

"We'll join you" Benjamin said with no hesitations "No" Amin protest "I will do the right thing, Amun. You may do as you please" Benjamin convincing him and the rest other vampire start to step forward

Carlisle looks at Mitch hoping she would stand with them "No, we've through hell. I didn't want to loose more people that I love" Mitch said with a tear falling to her eyes "Hey, hey, Mitch both of us is not gonna die" Scott said "It's easy to say that because you didn't see the future" Mitch told them and she left "I'll talk to her" Carlisle told everyone

"That didn't take much" Vladimir said "Let's hope it doesn't come to that" Edward's hope  "We'll see" Alistair response

Everyone showed courage. Though they knew that Aro's army was moving against the Cullen's. Soon we would face the dark gifts of Jane. And worse, the paralyzing vapor of her brother Alec who could rob you of sight, sound and touch. And also hopes that Mitch will change her mind, cause they knew how powerful the fairy was
