Kiyotaka POV
I felt a jerk somewhere behind my navel. My feet had left the ground. I unclenched the hand holding the Cup; it was pulling him onward in a howl of wind and swirling color, Yuki at my side, holding my hand tightly. Then I felt my feet slam into the ground, but I regained my balance and did not fall over.
Then I opened my eyes to take the first look into the wizarding world.
Dumbledore: "Welcome to the wizarding world, London, and the famous Diagon Alley!"
The first thing that came to my mind was- Marvelous.
As I stand at the entrance of Diagon Alley, my heart races with a mixture of excitement and disbelief. The sight before me is like something out of a dream, or perhaps more accurately, out of a storybook—a storybook that until now I had only read about in whispers and in pages that seemed too fantastical to be real.
The first thing that struck me is the contrast between the world I'd just left behind and the magical realm that now unfolds before my eyes. The entrance, as I looked behind me, was concealed behind the weathered facade of a seemingly abandoned pub called The Leaky Cauldron, had opened unexpectedly into a narrow, bustling street. The transition from the bustling London street to the quaint, cobblestoned path of Diagon Alley felt like stepping through a portal into another universe.
Above me, the sky seems to take on a different hue, a perpetual twilight that bathes everything in a soft, enchanting glow. It's as if the very air here is infused with magic, shimmering with possibilities and secrets waiting to be discovered.
To my left, the first shop that catches my eye is "Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC." The sign above the door gleams with polished brass, and I can't help but feel a sense of reverence as I look at the ancient building. Through the window, I catch glimpses of shelves upon shelves of wands, each one unique and promising untold powers. The air around the shop seems to hum with a faint, mystical energy, as if the wands themselves are whispering tales of their own.
Opposite Ollivanders stands "Quality Quidditch Supplies," its storefront adorned with vibrant posters of broomsticks soaring through the air and football sized red balls being thrown with precision. Brooms of all shapes and sizes are displayed proudly in the window, each one seeming to beckon with promises of speed and exhilaration. I watch as a group of young wizards press their noses against the glass, their faces alight with anticipation as they debate the merits of various models.
Beside it, "Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions" offers a quieter but no less enchanting scene. Through the large windows, I see bolts of fabric in every shade imaginable, from shimmering silver to deep, velvety green. A witch stands on a platform inside, her robe being carefully tailored by Madam Malkin herself. The attention to detail is mesmerizing, and I find myself imagining the adventures that might be had in such magnificent attire.
As my gaze continues to wander down the alley, more wonders unfold before me. "Flourish and Blotts," with its towering stacks of books that seem to reach the very ceiling, beckons book lovers and seekers of knowledge alike. The windows are filled with volumes that promise to reveal the secrets of spells, creatures, and histories beyond imagination. A young witch eagerly flips through a tome, her eyes wide with wonder as she absorbs the wisdom within its pages.
Beside the bookstore, "Eeylops Owl Emporium" exudes an air of ancient wisdom, with rows of majestic owls perched solemnly in their cages. Some hoot softly to themselves, while others preen their feathers with an air of regal indifference. The shopkeeper, a stooped old wizard with a kindly face, looks content and happy, his eyes twinkling with a silent understanding of the bond between wizard and familiar.
