HELLO! this is my second wattpad story, but this story does involve major manga spoilers, so uhhh don't read if you don't want spoilers.
This story also contains major amounts of graphically told parts so if you don't like that, just don't read.
This story is after tanjiro broke the Yoriichi Type-Zero

After the demon attack at the swordsmith village and once Tanjiro had left, all the swordsmith had relocated and Kotetsu on the other hand was gathering every piece of the Yoriichi Type-Zero that he could and wrapped the tiny broken pieces into a cloth and the rest into a tool box with said cloth and he carried the Yoriichi Type-Zero's body by himself, which was a long and tough journey, but he eventually made it to another spot where he could at least try and fix the Yoriichi Type-Zero.
"Alright, where to start?"
Kotetsu said to himself while looking at all the broken pieces and such, but Kotetsu luckily had some tools on hand and some glue (which apparently did exist in 1915 aka the Taisho era)
Kotetsu looked at the dolls missing hand which he had gotten back from Muichiro and thought he would work on that first.
Kotetsu began to look inside the pieces in the arm and started to try and figure out what goes where with his 10 year old brain and even took off his mask to try and see better and he grabbed a wrench and some other type of pieces from inside the Yoriichi Type-Zero and tried to piece things together till he actually got some things right, he was astonished that he made some progress after hours of fiddling with it.
"Yess! I got it! I'm doing so good!"
Kotetsu praised himself as he grabbed the glue and started to glue the dolls hand back together and tried to see if it still moved properly if he moved it, so he turned the key in the doll, which it only unlocked the dolls movement but it didn't move by itself because it was still very broken but Kotetsu was luckily able too nice it's arm properly after the glue dried, he was so proud of himself.
Kotetsu picked some other pieces up and looked at the dolls missing head and groaned, knowing this is going to take hours, days even to fix, but Kotetsu was determined to try and fix his family heirloom made by his ancestors and began to try and fix it but it was already late in the day by how long he was working on the dolls arm and Kotetsu sighed and called it a day and headed home.
About a week or more went by, Kotetsu kept trying to fix the doll but one day he had put in one cog and they all started turning when Kotetsu put in the key, he smiled as his eyes sparkled
"YES! YES! I DID IT! I FIXED IT! YES!"
He was so happy he even had some tears in his eyes that he had fixed the doll and started to try and glue the doll's head back together without getting any glue in its hair.
After several days, Kotetsu had fixed the doll, but now it was time for the truth, would it still work if he turned the key again? Kotetsu started to look for the key but then... He heard the dogs turning... He hadn't even put the key in... He slowly turned his head to see that the doll was looking at him...
Kotetsu started to back up because be felt a little creeped out and the doll moved too and Kotetsu screamed
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! WHAT THE HECK!?!?"
Kotetsu was really scared but the Yoriichi Type-Zero just approached him and crouched, like it understood he was scared
Kotetsu raised his head and looked at the doll, still shaking, was the Yoriichi Type-Zero possessed?
The Yoriichi Type-Zero then hugged Kotetsu... Like it was comforting him... But kotetsu noticed something... The Yoriichi Type-Zero felt... Warm... Like if his mother was hugging him and he hugged the six armed doll back.
After the hug the doll just stayed in place as Kotetsu started writing a note to tie it to a crow and send it to Tanjiro.
The crow traveled awhile till it reached the butterfly mansion he was recovering in and read the note that said
"Tanjiro! I have successfully fixed the Yoriichi Type-Zero! It took me weeks but I didn't know I could actually do it! But there was something wrong, I was looking for the key to the doll but I heard cogs turning and when I turned around, the doll had moved on its own, I was petrified but the doll hugged me with all six arms... But the strangest part was that it was warm, it had body heat! I'm still scared but it's not doing anything now other than sitting there, I have a feeling it's possessed but I think this doll could be able... To fight..."

Tanjiro was confused but also had a feeling the Yoriichi Type-Zero could be useful in battle and they could use it in the future and sent a note back to Kotetsu by crow and once Kotetsu received the note he read it
"Thank you for informing me on this, Kotetsu, great job! But that doll definitely might be useful, I think many slayers could get stronger by training with it, you should ask Ubuyashiki-san if it could be used for the hashira training that's going to happen soon, that doll is strong, even gave Muichiro-san a struggle as he's told me, but it's your decision, you don't have to, it just sounds like a good idea to me but you aren't being forced"

Kotetsu thought about it for awhile, looking back and forth to the letter to Yoriichi Type-Zero who had the crow on it's head, seemingly not harming it but the crow seemed drawn to it by it's calm nature and Kotetsu nodded to himself
"That's a great idea, Tanjiro! I'll head to the Ubuyashiki mansion tonight!"
