The night sky was beautiful. It shone with dozens of stars, and the moon glistened like the sun.
A lonely wanderer walks through the forest, carrying a bag of food to their house. They walked through the dark woods, only able to see by the light of their phone. This was hard to manage given the bags in their hands. Still, they managed to carry all this stuff at once.
Their walk ended as they finally made it to their house, closing the door behind them. They didn't even bother to turn on the lights as they set down the grocery bags on their small table. Then, they began to unpack their goods.
After a long while, they were finally finished unpacking. They then started getting ready to go to bed. Just as they started heading towards their bedroom, they heard a noise. It sounded like someone... crying? Whimpering? They couldn't tell. It freaked them out, but still, they were curious. They knew it was a dumb idea, but they couldn't help it. They had to at least see what was making those noises.
Just to be cautious, they grabbed a knife that was sitting on their counter, and slowly made their way towards the door.
...
Only to see someone laying unconscious laying on their front porch.
They couldn't tell what they were, but they looked like a box. A black and white box, split down the middle. They had weird gaps on their sides, shaped like cracks. There was a faint glow coming out of these cracks. They also had... horns? The more they questioned it, the more confused they became.
(🌸): This is... what am I even supposed to do with this? How did they even-
*ZZZTT* Small sparks fly off of the box
(🌸): ... Are they electronic? Maybe that's why their knocked out.
(🌸): Well... I cant just leave them out in the rain...
(🌸): I guess I can take them to my guest room. Maybe I can get some answers in the morning when they wake up... unless their dead
(🌸): ...
The flower hesitantly picks up the box. They were surprisingly heavy, and the flower began hearing a slight wring noise coming from them. Still, they pulled their new unconscious friend to their guest room.
They kept thinking to themselves, stuff like "is this a good idea?", "what if they wake up tomorrow and try to hurt me?", "what if they're actually dead?!". Still, they kept saying to themselves that it would be ok. The box (or whatever they really were) was injured, and would likely get worse if they stayed in the rain. This was a good thing...
...
...right?
They tried to push these thoughts away as they got into bed, and slowly drifted off to sleep.
