Rohirat returned home after that meeting. Virat instructed Ajay about the paperworks and other things about the contract.

They both didn't go to office as they both know very well they need sometime. Even though both are being as strong as possible but some old wounds still hurts.

But the thing is Virat know Rohit's wounds and their cures too. He was with Rohit like a shadow at that tough time. He never even think of leaving Ro. He took care of him and his family along with Ro's company. He got too busy in handling everything that he forgot too share Ro about himself like before.

The fun-loving guy and childish cheeku became mature and responsible Virat Kohli in a painful way. It's not like Rohit didn't tried to cure Vi's pain but Virat never shared anything about himself no matter how much he try. Rohit have a very good idea that there are many wounds of past that left scars on Vi's heart but he don't know what caused them.

No matter what but Ro didn't let this thing effect their relationship. He continued to try his best to see those scars and heal them. He never lost hope even though he misses his cheeku so much. He miss that childish guy who used to joke around or pranking others. But that one accident changed everything.

"What are you thinking Ro?" Asked by Vi seeing Ro lost in deep thoughts. They were sitting in hall's sofa

"I should have handled it well" said by Ro in daze shocking Vi. Ro too come in his senses and looked at Vi forcing a smile

"I mean I..." Ro was cut in between by Vi

"You handled everything very well Ro. You're not at any fault. Why you say that? What are you thinking?" Asked by Vi kneeling infront of Ro cupping his face in his hands.

"I'm not thinking anything Vi. It's nothing just..." Ro sighed heavily not being able to hide his emotions. He don't want to worry Vi but he can never pretend infront of him. Virat has that power on him which never let him to hide anything from him.

"It just what Ro? Are you thinking about them? Are you feeling bad because of them? Because of that accident?" Asked by Vi as softly as he could. Breaking through Ro's walls who just looked down not knowing what to say more.

"Don't you know how much I love you? I'm always here you know that right? Tell me what's hurting you" asked by Vi again to which Ro looked up with teary eyes which broke Vi's hurt. Ro's tears is the last thing for Vi which he wanna see.

"I failed to protect you Vi. I failed to support you. I left you alone in that situation. I left you alone to handle everything to fight alone. I failed you Vi." Said by Ro with shaky tone holding Vi's hands tightly letting his guards to come down. Vi got up from floor and hugged Ro tightly who buried his face in Vi's stomach wrapping his hands around him.

"You can never fail me Ro. You only gave me reasons to be proud of you. You only gave me reasons to love you. My Ro isn't a loser. My Ro is a winner who won my heart everytime with many things. So dare you say anything about him. My Ro never failed me. My Ro fought with death just for me. And you're saying he failed me? No never" said by Vi while caressing Ro's hairs softly who looked at him from down.

"I changed you" mumbled by Ro. Vi know the meaning of this words very well.

"Yes you changed me. You made me a men from a boy. You made that immature Vi to this mature Vi. I met this best version of me just because of you. So thank you Ro" said by Vi with a smile

"Is it best?" Asked by Ro again

"Yes it's. Don't tell me you don't love me like before" said by Vi with fake anger trying to change Ro's mood.
