Happy roommate, Happy...? • Luwin ff

"Alright mom."

"Thanks for helping me move into my new house mom." Winwin said as his mom came back in first with one of the last boxes, his sister walking in minutes later with the last one.

"Thank you as well." He said and went to take a few boxes to his room. He quickly returned so he could tell his family goodbye before they left.

He went and hugged his mom first and then sister and once they were almost out of the house, his mom stopped to say something.

"Don't forget Sicheng, your roommate will be moving in soon, possibly next week." She said before leaving.

"Oh.. right.. I almost forget about that part, but who would it be?" Winwin asked himself as his mom set up the arrangements and he had no say in anything. He wasn't mad of course, the house was big enough for around 3 or 4 people, he'd just rather know who it is beforehand so he can be prepared.

He began to unbox the things he needed in his room, he was lucky he had made it there first so he could pick his room quicker.

He opened a box with his blankets and pillows and he placed them onto his already made bed. Him and his mom had set it up before they left.

He looked back in the box and seen an old teddy bear he had been given years prior. It was dirty but it smelt like home.

It was already getting late but Winwin needed to finish unpacking. He finished with only a few boxes to unpack later on, the boxes were full of the unimportant items that didn't really need to be unpacked that day anyway.

It was 12:50 and Winwin was tired so he fell asleep on his bed, hugging the teddy bear tightly as this has been one of the only times he has been fully alone, he had other roommates before but he was done with college so he had to leave.

He woke up hours later. He sat up and stretched before going to his bag and grabbing his hygiene products. He took the things to his bathroom that was in his room.

He also brought clothes to take a shower, which he did. As he showered he heard a noise from downstairs. He shook it off and kept showering until he was done. He brushed his teeth while he dried his hair with a towel.

Once he was done he grabbed his phone and went downstairs, looking around the corner to see someone else in the doorway, bringing in boxes.

Winwin's eyes opened wide as he seen the person, he moved over though, trying not to be seen, as they could be the new roommate.

He slowly approached the kitchen and basically hid himself in the almost fully empty walk-in pantry, but if that person had walked in, he could've made the excuse that he was looking for a snack.

He sat there and grabbed a bag of chips. He ate until he heard footsteps walking into the kitchen, they were loud and Winwin didn't think he could hide any longer so he pulled himself together and pretended that he had just grabbed something and walked out.

The person had seen him, it was a tall guy and he looked younger than Winwin.

"Hello! I'm Andy! Are you my brothers roommate?" He asked and Winwin slowly nodded awkwardly.

"He won't be here for another 3 days but I decided to help him get some of his things placed into the house. Also, what's your name?" Andy asked Winwin and smiled.

"I'm Winwin, n- nice to meet you." He bowed slightly and quickly walked away, Andy looking at him confused as he walked by.

He shrugged it off and started unpacking the kitchen essentials that his brother had packed.

When the boy was done, he called his brother.
It took a few rings but he picked up. "Hello.." he sounded as if he just woke up.

"Yah! Yukhei! Your roommate is cute... maybe you'll fall in love!" He said excitedly while bouncing around.

"You're delusional." He replied and hung up before slapping the phone down next to him as he fell back asleep.

Andy snarled at his phone before putting it in his pocket. He left and went home soon after.

"Welcome back Andy, did you finish unpacking yet?" His mom asked he nodded happily.

"Lucas' roommate is so adorable! I bet Lucas would fall in love as soon as their eyes meet." Andy said as he pointed over at Lucas' room.

"Well let's not rush into things because they're going to meet in a few days, we can't afford to lose such a good place and environment for Yukhei." His mom replied.

"Alright mom." Andy responded lightly.

"Now, go wake up your brother, it's almost dinner time."
