Maaike Eefje Meulenbelt-Dedova

Maaike Eefje Dedova (née Meulenbelt) is one of the four OCs for this AU. She was born in Amsterdam, but moved to Moscow in her early teens and, alongside her husband, grew to be a well-respected police officer who initially died in the line of duty on December 18th of 1966, eventually being resurrected on the same day 48 years later. She is the wife of Demyan Dedov, the mother of Krusveto Demyanovich Dedov and two unnamed (atm) others, the grandmother of Ruvyzvat Krusvetovich Dedov, and the great-grandmother of Selever Ruvyzvatovich Dedov and Rasazy Ruvyzvatovna Dedova.

Appearance

Emi has white skin with lavender markings on it and white eyes. Her hair has natural lavender streaks on it. Her hair is tied in a braided bun and she has bangs. She has a slightly chubby build, but due to how gacha club works, it doesn't show in her ref picture.

She wears a pastel blue princess coat, black pants, and pastel blue boots. Additionally, she also wears pastel blue gloves and a black belt.

Personality

Emi is rational and composed, often holding her head up high and rarely ever losing her temper. She is strict with her family in regards to their language, and is 100% against swearing and profanity. Despite her Catholic background, she had no qualms accepting Sarv as her granddaughter-in-law upon seeing how she was truly remorseful for her past actions and how she truly cared for the family.

She is usually open-minded and patient (albeit the latter has its limits). She is also knowledgeable in math and science, much to the jealousy of her children. She is very organized and ensures that she thinks things through before she acts.

As a mother and a wife, she loves her children and husband dearly and would do anything for them. She listens to what her children and/or husband have to say whenever they vent to her and does what she can to comfort them and assure them that they are loved. She played a major role in how her children, even her son, who's been struggling with severe depression and bottling it up ever since he was 10, have managed to stay mentally stable for so long even after her initial death.

Abilities

1. Supernatural voice: She can cause earthquakes with just a mere shout and can sometimes come off as loud or aggressive when, in reality, she's just speaking normally. This ability was passed on to two of her children, then to her grandson, who then passed it on to his daughter.
