Chapter 1

Jax POV

I could hear the sirens getting quite and quite as I run further and further away, turning every which way I could, with the black and red ninja chasing me. The footsteps getting closer. The only reason they're chasing me because I have a dufflebag full of cash. I jump over piles  and piles of trash, trying to lose them, to no avail. I then turn right and then left, but it lead to a dead-end. I turned around and got ready to fight the both of them. The black ninja jumping at me and getting ready to use his scythe. I go towards him to dodge the blade and grab his arm, and throw him to the red ninja.

Predictable

I grabbed my metal bat and got ready to hit any minute now. The red ninja then swung his sword at me. I swung my bat upwards so I wouldn't get hit, then I quickly recoiled and hit his knee. He screamed. That hurts like hell, but he's not getting up for a bit. I then faced Cole and got ready to swing, but he was already swinging the scythe at me. I dodge as quickly as I could, almost getting hit. He kept swinging and I kept dodging, it was obvious I was struggling against him, so he kept going. "You're obviously good at fighting, but are you good in bed?" I tried to flirt, it probably wasn't a good pick up line, but it worked as he hesitated, "Huh!? I- WHAT!?" He was flustered.

I then got ready to swing and hit his head. He quickly gained his composure and dodged. "That wasn't the best pick up line, but that was a good idea to take advantage of your enemies." I swung again and he dodged. Then out of no where someone kicked me. I hit the ground and my breath left me. I looked up to see Kai standing over me. "I thought you'd be down for a few more minutes." I chuckled. "Well you thought wrong, it takes a lot more to take me down." He then tried to grab me, I kicked him using both my legs and got up as quickly as I can. Cole then attacked me, I grabbed his scythe and started spinning, shaking him off. He then tried running at me, I tripped him.

He's actually powerless without it.

I then walked to him and pointed his scythe at him and looked over at Kai who was ready to attack. "You'll let me leave and I'll let him live." I said in blunt voice. I put my foot on his chest when he tried grabbing the scythe. "Don't let him leave Kai." I then pushed the Scythe so that it's partially blocking his airway. "So what will it be? Capture me and lose you friend, or let me go and keep your friend?" I knew I won when he had an angry look on his face. "Fine, I'll let you go." I smirked walked away, after a good amount of space, I threw the scythe towards them and left.

Days later.
Lloyd has just recently opened the Hypnobrai tomb and is raiding Jamonakai village for candy. I was visiting here for the fun of it I guess. I always visit every few days so when the snakes actually came I'd be there. So I'm here. I walk up to Lloyd, "Hey Lloyd! Long time no see." He looked up to me and smiled instantly. "Hi Jax!" I then heard Skales say under his breath. "Oh great another brat."

"I'm Jax, what's your name?" I introduced myself. "I am Slithraa, general of the Hypnobrai." I smiled, "nice to meet you Slithraa." I turned to Skales and asked, "What about you? Whats your name?" He looked at me with judging eyes then spoke. "Skales, I'm second in command" "Well it's nice to meet you too." He then eyed me one more time then turned away. Meanwhile Lloyd went away to grab more candy and Slithraa followed him, leaving me and Skales alone. "I heard you earlier, you thought I was a brat, is it because I'm friends with Lloyd?" He looked surprised for a second but composed himself just as fast. "Yeah, that is correct." I looked at him for a bit, "ok"

Then we heard arguing, and it was a little ways from outside of town. "Sounds like the ninja are here."

I started running to an alley and wait.

After the ninja fight the hypnobrai and take the staff, they retreated. I watched as the ninja was making a declaration to never hold off today, Yada Yada Yada. Then the blue ninja, Jay, spotted me, and then looked at his team before cautiously making his way over. I smirked. "Hello Jay walker, how have you been." I bowed. He froze for a second before asking, "How in the first spinjitsu master do you know my name?" He swung his nunhcucks at me and I quickly grabbed my bat and blocked them. "I just know, I know everyone's name on your little ninja team, I did my research." He then grabbed his nun chucks and tried to hit me. "That sounds very creepy to me." He said making me laugh.
