Sitting at her brand new keyboard, Clare tried to play the song that Felix had given her the week prior. After having multiple piano lessons with Felix, she was then inspired to buy one of her own so she could practice more regularly. After saving up enough money, she went out and bought the nicest one she could find, which now sat proudly in front of her.

A fan in Clare's room blew her hair into her face, which caused her to mess up what she was playing. It was now the beginning of summer, and the temperature was already starting to rise rapidly. Her house lacked air conditioning, so a big fat box fan was what Clare resulted to. School had ended well, with Clare and Zinnia off on a good note. They had basically just promised each other to be very honest, and if we're feeling something, tell one another.

Suddenly, someone placed they're hand over Clare's eyes. "Guess who?"

Clare scoffed, grabbing they're wrist and looking upward. "Felix." His eyes were bright green today, filled with happiness and joy. Felix's hair was also a little wavy today, when it was usually straight.

"Bingo!" He said, pulling away from Clare and plopping on her bed, letting out a large sigh. Felix's forehead was tinged with sweat.

"What were you doing?" Clare asked, curious as to why he was so tired. If she remembered his schedule correctly he wasn't supposed to have any sports practice other than their own basketball practice. They had made a schedule about a month ago that they would practice only two times a week, to minimize Clare's unwillingness to get all sweaty and gross.

"My Dad was making me run errands for my Mom," He put up quotation marks for "Mom", because he had never imagined her as one. "She literally never does anything. I don't understand why she can't just do them herself. And Dad won't let me drive any of the cars, so I have to run around in this hot weather."

Clare scoffed at the usual nonsense of his parents. "They really do not know how to be good parents, do they? That's like abuse, making you walk through this scorching hot weather."

"Exactly!" Felix rolled around on Clare's bed, letting out a groan of annoyance. His hair messed up cutely on the pillow, making Clare smile at his clumsiness.

She stood up from the bench, walking over to her side table to grab her phone. Just then, Felix grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the bed, hugging her like a bear.

"Eww," Clare said sarcastically, "You're still sweaty and gross."

"Not like you won't be too soon." Flix hugged her tight, sending the butterflies in her stomach over hurdles.

Clare laughed at his pressure over her chest, arms sinking deep into her. Felix's hands were warm, grabbing her arms, and she could still smell his cologne through the salty sweat. She stopped squirming and trying to break free from Felix's grip, then just hugged Felix back with the little mobility she had.

Flipping around in Felix's grip, she leaned close up against his large and muscular chest, so that she could hear his heart beating within. It was fast, just like hers.

"Do you have to practice today?" Clare asked, folding her arms to her chest, soaking in Felix's body heat.

He leaned his head on top of Clare's because he had such a height advantage. "Good colleges really like strong extracurriculars, y'know."

Clare signed, silently agreeing that this was best for her. "Let me go change." Felix gave her one last tight hug, then let her slide off the bed. "Oh, yeah. Are't Zinnia and Lizzie joining us today?" Clare asked, grabbing clothing from her drawer.

"I forgot about that. I'm pretty sure they are though."

Clare stopped in the door frame on her way to the bathroom. "I call taming with Zinnia."
