Episode 2 Unexpected Ally

Scene 1: The Quad at Crestmont Academy

The sun shines brightly over Crestmont Academy, casting long shadows across the neatly trimmed lawns. Students scatter around the quad, chatting and laughing as they enjoy their lunch break. Near the fountain, a group of girls—led by the notoriously cruel Regina—huddle together, whispering and giggling with malice.

Scene 2: Celeste's Predicament

Celeste Everhart, with her long black wavy hair cascading down her shoulders and her piercing amber eyes, approaches the fountain, unaware of the impending mischief. Her graceful demeanor reflects her usual confidence, but today, she is the target of a cruel prank.

As she passes by, Regina signals to her accomplices. In a split second, a bucket is lifted, and a cascade of slimy worms pours down, drenching Celeste.

Gasps and laughter erupt from the onlookers, but Celeste stands frozen, her flawless figure now covered in wriggling worms. Her piercing amber eyes fill with a mix of shock and humiliation.

Scene 3: Lucas to the Rescue

From the other side of the quad, Lucas Montgomery notices the commotion. His handsome face furrows with concern as he sees Celeste in distress. With his dark brown wavy hair bouncing as he moves, he rushes over, his piercing blue eyes locked on the scene.

Pushing through the crowd, Lucas reaches Celeste and immediately takes off his jacket, draping it over her shoulders to shield her from further humiliation.

"Hey, knock it off!" he shouts at Regina and her cronies, his voice steady and commanding. "This isn't funny!"

Regina and her gang, taken aback by Lucas's intervention, exchange uncertain glances before dispersing, their laughter dying away.

Scene 4: A Gentle Reassurance

With the bullies gone, Lucas turns to Celeste. His thoughtful and introspective nature shines through as he gently helps her brush off the worms.

"Are you okay?" he asks, his voice soft and reassuring.

Celeste, still shaken, nods slowly. "Thank you, Lucas," she whispers, her voice trembling. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

Lucas smiles warmly. "No need to thank me. I'm just glad I got here in time." He hesitates for a moment before adding, "I'm actually friends with your brother. We've known each other since we were kids."

Celeste's eyes widen in recognition. "Lucas Montgomery... Of course! I remember now. You used to come over to our house all the time."

Lucas nods, his smile widening. "Yeah, those were good times. Let's get you cleaned up. We can talk more then."

Scene 5: A New Bond

As they walk away from the fountain, Lucas keeps a protective arm around Celeste. Despite the humiliating incident, she feels a surge of gratitude and a renewed sense of strength.

In the safety of the boarding supervisor's quarters, Celeste cleans up and changes into fresh clothes. Lucas waits outside, his mind racing with thoughts of their childhood memories and the unexpected bond they have just rekindled.

When Celeste finally emerges, her amber eyes are filled with a mix of relief and appreciation. "Thank you again, Lucas. It means a lot to me."

Lucas nods, his piercing blue eyes meeting hers with sincerity. "Anytime, Celeste. I'll always be here if you need me."
