(Y/n's POV)

Charlie gestured for me to come inside and led me into a larger room where multiple individuals were sitting and talking among themselves. One was quite small with vibrant reddish pink hair with a small yellow streak and only had one eye. The Cyclops was wearing what I assume to be a type of maid's outfit. Another was an arachnid with white fur. They were a bit taller than me, sprawled on a large couch scrolling on their phone. "Who's she?" A gravelly voice sounded from within the bar. He had red wings with the designs of which you'd usually find on playing cards. The feline wore a top hat and a bowtie. "This is... uh. what did you say your name was again?" Charlie asked me. "Y/n" I replied with a soft smile.
"Right! Sorry. Everyone this is Y/n, Y/n, these are the Happy Hotel's staff members! Though I guess Alastor isn't currently here.. you'll get to meet him sooner or later though." Charlie continued to introduce me to everyone. 'Odd, I thought the sign said Hazbin Hotel.'  I thought to myself. I learned that the spider's name was Angel Dust, the feline was Husker, the lady who had been glaring at me the entire time was Charlie's girlfriend Vaggie, and the cute little Cyclops was Nifty. "Since you'll be staying here, I'll go and show you to your room and let you settle in." Charlie said to me and led me down one of the halls to where an elevator stood. She pressed the button, and soon after a bell dinged, signalling that the lift had arrived and it's metal door opened and the both of us stepped inside. She pressed another button and moments later the metal door closed and the hum of the shaft being lifted was heard. "So, you'll be staying on the sixth floor in room '628'. " She informed me as the shaft continued upwards. I nodded in response and only a few moments later the shaft stopped, and the door opened once again, and she continued to lead me down various hallways until we reached room '628'
She handed me the key card after she unlocked it. I thanked her and she walked off, leaving me to my own devices. The room itself was surprisingly nice. A king-sized bed with dark red silk sheets and fluffy black pillows.  A big enough closet, a desk, and even a balcony. 'Well, isn't this just cozy.' I thought with a soft chuckle.

Half an hour goes by when I hear a rhythmic knock on my door. 'Shave and a haircut, two bits!' I walk over and open it and to my surprise, it wasn't someone I had been previously introduced to when I had first arrived, but rather a taller man with red and black hair with deer ears and small antlers. He had red eyes and a dark red monocle to fit, with a big, wide-open yellow smile. He wore a red pinstripe suit with black pants and leather black shoes. He held what looked to be an old handheld microphone in his hand. I raised my eyebrow after we both stood there in awkward silence. "Hello, my dear! The name's Alastor, the radio demon! I don't believe we've ever met before, are you new here in hell?" He introduced himself, and only then did I notice his voice. It sounded like it was coming out of the other end of an old radio. "No, I'm not new here. Lucifer wanted me to stay here and watch over Charlie and the hotel." I replied. I guessed that this was the man that Lucifer wanted me to keep away from Charlie. "Oh! Well, I don't know why he'd say that since I've been doing that this entire time!" He remarked as he put his hands on his hips. "Don't know what to tell you." I said to him as I sighed.
"Well, anyways, Charlie wanted me to inform you that supper is ready." He finished and stretched his arm out so I could leave. I walked out the door, it locking behind me, and walked down the same hallways that Charlie had led me through to get here. Once I reached the elevator, I noticed that Alastor had been following beside me. "Tell me, my dear, how did someone like you end up in hell?" He questioned me as we descended inside the shaft.
"Doesn't matter." I replied in a monotone voice. The sound of him sighing could be heard. He was about to say something else but the metal doors opened and I exited and continued on my way to the dining room.

After supper was over, I offered to help Nifty clean up in the kitchen.
"Thanks for all the help Y/n!" Her high-pitched voice sounded from the top of the kitchen counter. "No problem" I responded, looking back down at the sink as I continued washing the remaining dishes and putting them on the drying rack. Once everything was washed I walked out of the kitchen and decided to take a walk around the hotel to see what else was here to see.
As I walked around on the main floor, I heard a faint buzzing sound coming not too far behind me. I turned around to see if there was anything there, but I saw nothing. I turned back to keep walking, but there right in front of me stood Alastor. "Hello my dear!" Alastor said in his radio host voice. I gave his sudden appearance no mind. His attempt to scare me was fruitless. "Hello, Alastor. Can I help you?" I asked him in a monotone voice.
"As a matter of fact, yes! Since you're new here in hell,-"
"Like I said earlier, I'm not new here." I said, cutting the man off mid-sentence.
"As I was saying," He started again, ignoring me. "Since you're new here, I would like to know more about you."  I sighed as I pinched the bridge of my nose in annoyance.
"Fine.." I said after a few moments of silence. 'Might as well play along.' I thought to myself.
"Perfect! So, tell me. Who were you when you were alive?" He asked me. 'Oh, this'll be fun~' I thought to myself once more. "When I was alive?" I reiterated and the man nodded his head. "Oh, that's easy. I was a woman." I said with a smirk. His face dropped in slight annoyance, though his smile stayed just as wide as ever. He then chuckled to himself before snapping his fingers, making the entire hall go dark. The only visible thing was his smile and glowing eyes. 'Well, this is new...' I thought. The next thing I know, I'm pinned up against the wall, Alastor's face merely inches away from my own. "Listen, my dear, don't think that being a smart-ass is going to get you very far with me. If I were you, I'd be a bit more respectful to an overlord as powerful as myself." He said in a stern voice, his smile and eyes trying to tempt me to do another stupid act. "Because one day, your going to disrespect the wrong sinner and be left to deal with the consequences of your foolishness." He finishes his statement. 'This man obviously doesn't know who he's talking to. And he's talking about being respectful?' I thought to myself as I rolled my eyes and chuckled. His expression turning into one of confusion. "How long have you been brewing that up for?" I said, now laughing. I removed myself from the wall and pushed him aside as if he were merely a piece of paper, him stumbling backwards. He had nothing left to say, and when I turned my head to look at him, he was just staring at me in utter shock. I chuckled once more and continued walking down the hall, leaving him there stunned.

(Alastor's POV)

After a few moments, I finally collected my thoughts and dusted myself off. 'Who the fuck, does she think she is? She has no right to mock me like that!'  Angered thoughts ran through my head as I walked off towards my office on the main floor. 'I'm the radio demon! No one would have even dared to speak back to me, not to mention the fact that any other sinner wouldn't have been able to look me in the eye! I wont let this stand, I wont let that foolish girl think that she's able to just do whatever it is she wants. No, I'm going to teach her a lesson and show her who just the fuck I am.'  My smile grew impossibly wide, while a heavy static noise radiated off of me.
