After we got out of the forest, Elizabeth wanted to treat my wounds, but I said I was fine, she reluctantly left me alone with my wounds, even though they are taking a long to time to heal. Meliodas on the other hand assured her that he was fine.
I wonder why.
"Alrighty, so Ban is in Baste Prison and King is said to be dead and buried." Informed Meliodas, "But I don't think King is dead."
"Considering that he's one of you, and powerful, I have doubt the king dude is dead." I said, cleaning my railgun.
"Enough about that!" Diane whipped out her wanted poster with a bright smile and showed it to Meliodas, "Look! I've become such a fine woman during these ten years!"
"That's just a wanted poster I'd kept just in case." Meliodas bluntly told her. He hopped off Diane's shoulder.
"I don't care, I have zero interest in other people besides you." Diane told him, with somewhat a pouting and blank look.
"I've decided! Let's go to Baste dungeon!" Meliodas announced. Diane cheered along, and Hawk's mom huffed to declare she will go along with the plan.
"But why Baste dungeon?" Hawk asked.
"It's closer to here." Meliodas admitted.
"That's it?!" Hawk huffed. "Even if that Holy Knight's telling the truth, isn't this like jumping into a lion's den?"
"Either way, someone's keeping track of our movements," I shrugged, "That Gilthunder guy even went out of the way to find Meliodas and the rest of us in the forest that Holy Knights are supposed to avoid."
"That's... true..."
A meek voice exclaimed behind my back. "I... I'm against this!"
Elizabeth had a worried and feared look on her face, as if I'm gonna die before her eyes in any moment. "Instead of going to the dungeon, shouldn't we treat Sir Meliodas injury first?" Then, she turned to me. "If you fight a Holy Knight with that body...."
