Wonder Woman: The Claws of A Curse (Part 2)

*We see a personal mind journal narrated by Diana with visual aids*

Diana: "It has been 6 months since I came to the outside world and became Wonder Woman. Since defeating Ares, I feel the goddesses have gifted me further. I feel stronger, wiser yet my mentality remains unchanged. I make the local news everyday. I saved an entire ferry from being capsized, testing my underwater abilities. Whenever I leap, I feel the breeze supports me, making it easier to save people up high. I run at speeds no car can evade from. The people love me, they embrace the name Wonder Woman. On October 31st, they dress up as me, even the men of this world wear my attire as a celebratory costume. I have settled into this world but still have a long way to go. I live in a fairly tall building call an apartment, number 16 on Simone Place is my address. I moved out of Julia and Nessie's home a few months ago but I visit them from time to time. My best friend Becca who I want to get closer with lives a few doors down. I think I love her, she may be the one for me and I the one for her, but I am not sure. Same with Mala or Kasia, something feels off. I do not know if it is because I am an Amazon and she is a human, or is it because we work together. Either way, I want her to be happy. I saw her talking to the young man who runs our favorite food place- his name is Phil, he's nice. If Becca chooses him and he treats her right, I shall be happy. I visit my mother and home when I can, separation anxiety has gotten to the both of us, more her than I. I take Becca sometimes and plan to take Minerva and Etta one day too. Steve is getting a lot of love at work, he is reforming the army, I feel my ideals have affected him. I should allow him to visit Themyscira too, he is a great man who will surely tell great stories to his wife and kids. I have grown accustomed to some traditions here, from the modernized technology to the way people talk. The government here has welcomed me in open arms. I am soon to be an Ambassador of Themyscira, representing my people. I get some oppositions protesting my presence but I must not give in, I must be my own woman and change their mind peacefully. It is clear I must continue my destiny as Wonder Woman"

*We now skip to Diana saving people on a collapsed bridge, she uses her lasso to catch people, her strength to hold vehicles up and repairs the damage temporarily to let people pass*

Present day:

Diana and Minerva are eating at a diner

Diana "It is nice to catch up with you Minerva, I love our talks even though I repeat my lore several times. I am excited to see you launch your new book"

Minerva smiles "The seal of approval from Wonder Woman goes a long way"

Diana smiles back. Minerva then holds Diana's hand

Minerva "I really like you Diana and I am indebted to you. I have heard rumors of an ancient artefact lurking near a cave. People describe it as some sort of golden plant. I want you to go with me, you alone"

Diana is taken aback but respectfully answers "Wow, that sounds fun. But would you not rather go with Etta. I thought you and her would get back together"

Minerva shakes her head "No Diana, I specifically want to spend more time with you"

Minerva then leans for a kiss but Diana is unsure so she freezes. Becca then walks in and Diana jumps up. Minerva's kiss is interrupted.

Becca "Let me guess, vegetarian burger?"

Diana nods "You know me too well Becca"

Becca "Steve called me, the army have a slight problem that we can do with your help"

Diana nods again. She looks back at Minerva and says goodbye whilst she wraps her hand around Becca's shoulder and they go. Minerva feels a sense of jealousy but keeps it together
