Keith's pov

for the past few days I've had a sore throat, stuffy nose, and a fever. Will I tell the others? No that'll just make things worse I need to be able to go on missions, to help them and if they knew that I was sick they'd bed ridden me. So I just push through it hiding the pain and it's not as if I haven't before.

Everything was going well until well now. I dragged my feet forward slowly following behind Lance and Shiro as we headed towards the lounge. Until I felt a sudden wave of drowsiness overcome me. I started wobbling and Shiro seemed to notice cause he stopped and turned to face me "are you okay?" Shiro asked. Lance stopped and turned around too "what's the holdup?" he asked and I looked between Shiro and Lance before falling backwards drifting off to sleep.

I woke up in my bed. I sat up only to fall back onto the squishy pillow. I looked around my room and nobody was in it. I guess Shiro brought me back to my room after I fainted hopefully they don't suspect anything. I heard my door open I looked over to see who it was thinking it was Shiro but no it was Lance the guy that hates my guts. I tried to sit up again this time succeeding thanks to the help of my shaky arms and the wall "what are you doing in my room?" I asked. Lance narrowed his eyes at me "the others are off on a mission and left me to watch you, oh and Coran is here too" Lance said in a fake cheerful voice. I rolled my eyes "and why am I here?" I asked not fully sure if Lance would answer my question or try and make a pun "because you fainted and you also have a fever that you never told us about" Lance answered. I could practically hear the anger from his voice even though he was smiling I could tell he was gritting his teeth. Lance sighed "mind explaining why you kept it a secret?" he asked and I looked him dead in the eyes "no" I said simply. Lance face palmed then groaned "do you even want me here?" Lance asked, I looked down at the floor "no" I lied Lance walked out of the room and I sighed. I regret saying that.
