"Yah. You're Kim Gaeul Oppa, aren't you?!"

Kim Gaeul can't help but get shocked while being interrogated by a young teenage girl, which stand in front of her right now.

Fuck. Why is this girl so smart? Gaeul cursed while thinking of how to escape the question.

"Excuse me? Did you just address me as 'Oppa' right now?! How rude!" she retorted, pretending to be hurt while putting her right hand on her left chest and keeping her mouth slightly open, feigning shock.

"Yah. I know that guys have their secret kinks but still, what you did just now is extreme," Lee Hyunseo commented, shaking her head in disappointment while scanning her from head to foot.

Lee Hyunseo a.k.a. Leeseo. Since both Gaeul and Leeseo's parents have been friends during their school days, it was a given that they become friends, too.

However, since Gaeul is four years older than her, it was pretty obvious that Leeseo looks at and adores him like a big brother. That's also the reason why Gaeul didn't show up around her since joining the Bulsajo clan a few years back.

After all, being a crime family member will definitely tarnish the image Gaeul had on Leeseo.

Personally, Gaeul also adores Leeseo like an older brother or, to be proper in the present tense, like an older sister up to this day. That's how their relationship goes, at least.

"Yah. I know that teenagers these days can be downright rude because their parents tend to be too busy with work. However, they should still know the boundary between imagination and reality," Gaeul commented before showing Leeseo HER identity card. "I think you've been reading too much manhua, Little Miss," she smirked.

"Heol. So this identity card is genuine, huh?! How is that possible?" Leeseo mumbled while scrutinizing Gaeul's ID.

"Yah. What do you mean by that?" Gaeul asked, seriously puzzled by Leeseo's comment.

"Well, I'm aware that your ID is genuine since I believe you aren't smart or resourceful enough to attempt on availing a fake one by yourself," Leeseo commented. "However, your scent doesn't lie, and you know what I mean, O---nnie," she smirked, looking at Gaeul intensely while deliberately making a salutatory mistake.

Leeseo did intend to address Gaeul as 'Oppa' but, as a joke, she changed it into 'Unnie' after pretending to contemplate the situation, hence the 'O---nnie' comment.

Gaeul, on the other hand, can't help but get nervous after realizing her grave mistake of forgetting that Leeseo had a very sensitive nose, which enables her to identify and distinguish among different scents just like dogs do.

Seeing that lying won't save her, Gaeul raised her hands in surrender.

"Alright, Leeseo-yah. Let me explain---" Gaeul commented when Leeseo cut her words off.

"You already know our drill, Kim Gaeul. Let your cooking speak for yourself," Leeseo told Gaeul. "Follow me," she added.

I guess it has been seven years since I last stepped foot in here, Gaeul thought as she entered the Lee residence with Leeseo.

As a kid, she used to stay inside the Lee residence whenever their parents were out. That's why she knows the whole house from the inside out.

When Gaeul finally learned cooking from her mother and Leeseo's mom, it became Gaeul's bonding moment with Leeseo. After all, with the help of Leeseo's sense of smell, she could accurately tell whether the food she cooks will be delicious or not.
