"So Dr Aarohi.. may i ask you why you've left a prestigious hospital like Birla's?", the man decked up in a plain black from toe to head, asked her, closing the resume she had offered.
"Some personal reasons which I would not like to discuss, I am sorry" she replied curtly while trying hard not to be rude.
"I understand Dr. But you see if we're hiring you in our hospital, we need to know about you at least something.."
"I know sir.. I understand.. but the reason I left Udaipur, my home city, was completely and entirely personal, something I cannot disclose like this. And for that of course I had to leave Birla hospital as well."
"Hmmm.. also I am here seeing recommendation letter from Dr Harshvardhan Birla, the dean of Birla hospital. I assume you're in good rapport with him."
"I guess I do.. he actually helped me a lot with all this shifting and all... If it weren't him I don't think it was possible for me to handle everything."
"So Dr Aarohi...", before he could complete his sentence, a knock interrupted him.
"Yes come in.."
The door opened revealing a handsome young Dr in his 30s or may be late 20s, well it was hard to say.
"Papa your time's over... Come on come on hurry up pack up everything... Anjy's coming and you're supposed to pick her up from the airport.. you're going to be late.", the young man spoke in a single breath, like a toofan mail, without sparing a glance at her.
"Dr Armaan, behave! I am here interviewing someone I suppose..", Dr Shashank said sarcastically, tightening his lips in a thin line, making a mock smile.
"Oops sorry..", the man turned towards Aarohi and forwarded his hand, "hey it's Dr Armaan Malik here.. and you are??", As Aarohi glanced up at him, she found a pair of charming deep ocean blue eyes staring at her.
She looked down at his hand which, obviously, was advanced to her for a handshake, and then again looked up at his face. He was having that slightly crooked smile, revealing his gorgeous dimple in his right cheek, while his blue eyes sparkling notoriously. The person had an aura, which was hard, almost impossible, to ignore. He was radiating warmth, positivity, happiness, she could feel it. She could feel how the room, quite literally lighten up with just his mere presence.
"Hi I am Dr Aarohi, Aarohi Goenka.", she reciprocated his handshake.
"Dr Armaan... Please come over here.." her trance was broken with Dr Shashank calling Dr Armaan to a side, as he got up from his seat, "please give us a moment Dr Aarohi, can you?"
"Sure sir." Aarohi took her resume and left the cabin silently. She went ahead and sat on the settee that was kept outside the cabin, in the lounge.
Aarohi took a deep breath and started looking around to find something interesting to look at so that she didn't get assualted with her past memories again.
She was looking around when her eyes found the water purifier, hang on the wall, which was blue in colour. And here went all her efforts of not remembering her blueboy, her past.
(flashback)
"Chamgadar tum bhi naa..."
"Kya tum bhi na... Aarohi listen hamare shaadi ko almost 1 saal hone ko aaya hai we should plan our baby now.."
