I slowly stepped onto the warm concrete, my bare feet warming quickly. I'm glad it isn't burning hot, or else i'd have to run and risk falling.I walk down the sidewalk slowly, in the direction of your house. My shirt blowing in the breeze. I look around at the scenery, there's a road next to me and cars are passing by, a small amount of trees line the roads. I'm coming closer to your house now. I can see your porch and the fence outlining your property. I breathe in slowly. I stand up straighter and for myself to walk and not drag my feet. "Keep moving, Olivia. You can do this." I tell myself. I walk up the steps onto your porch and walk up to your door. I knock on the door, not quite loud enough to be heard by people in the back of the house and not quite soft enough for you not to hear from your bedroom. I know this since when we were younger we used to hang out and your room is on the side of the house near the front. I hear footsteps and a pause, then the door opens, your younger sister pokes her head out and says "Hello! My name is Amelie! Are you Levi's friend?" "Uh...Yea, could you get him for me, please..?" I say nervously."Of course I can! One minute!!" says Amelie. "Thanks" "LEVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" I hear Amelie yell inside the house. I hear footstepsLevi pushes the door open because it closed because of the wind and Amelie hadn't opened it that much. We look at each other, I feel like I can't breathe."h-hi." I say "Hey...Olive. I missed you." "You did?" I can feel the tears coming on now, my bottom lip trembling. "Yes. I did. Olive, I care about you."I can't hold in the tears anymore. He pulls me into his arms, "I couldn't stand to see you like that and not be able to help" he whispers'But you could help!" I start crying uncontrollably "You just stood there and watched me fall into a pit of depression! WHY DIDN'T YOU HELP ME?" "You don't get it Olive. You were in to deep. I tried talking to you but...but you wouldn't let me. I wanted to save you! I never wanted you to have to experience what I went through or worse but I....I couldn't help y-you." I can hear in his voice that he's trying to stay calm but he's about to collapse.
