Avenues are hopeless on the street
Buying time for the soldiers and the fleet
Carelessly locking those in endless yonder
Diving deep into depthless wander
Even considering the hopeless man
Facetiously walking without a plan
Gazing at blinding stars
Hoping to be taken to Mars
In spite of what the avenue says
Jake held his life on threads
Killing his faithless heart quickly
Like the joy of his honey
"Mars" he thought
Never considering the endlessness he once fought
Our poor man looked past the building
Praying for total healing
Quivers were drawn from the soldiers' arms
Ready to fire at Jake hardly armed
Suffering from his rumors
They had felt they had tumors
Unity was what was left
Vengeance was held with their theft
Wondering when to withdraw Jake
X was marked for their sake
Yelling, laughing, and crying
Zero hope for Jake who was dying
