Chapter Thirteen

Next day,

(Amy's POV)

*ring ring*

"Hello?" I said over the phone

"Hey girl," Kally said 

"Oh hi," I said, half asleep, trying not to wake Brian.

"Are you still there?" She said 

"Mhm," I said 

"Call you later ok?" I asked

"Ok!" She said hanging up 

I turn now facing Brian.

"Morning gorgeous," He says 

"Morning," I said smiling at him

"Are you hungry?" He asked, I nodded

We got dressed and headed downstairs to get a bite.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out together today?" He asked

"Yeah, that would be fun," I said 

"Ok cool!" He said 

"What did you have in mind?" I asked

"Whatever you like," He said 

"Maybe we could have a picnic?" I asked

"Great, picnic it is." He said 

We started packing, Brian knew a sandwich place to go to for our lunch to grab.

~Joey Roses ~

"Hey!" A man said at the counter

"Hey, Joe!" Brian said.

"Who's this?" He asked looking at me.

"I am Amy," I said shaking his hand

"Hello Amy, I am Joe." He said 

Joe? Oh my god, this is his store.

"Well we were gonna go have lunch together, so can we have a "The Ami" and "The Dad"(sandwiches)? " He asked 

We got our order and said goodbye to Joe.

"He's nice," I said

"He can be," Brian says laughing

"So he's a friend?" I asked

"Yeah well he's a comedian, he's Sal's buddy." He said 

"Ah cool," I said 

We went to the park and set up the picnic, we opened our sandwiches and started chatting.

"Yummy! This is good!" I said

"You know Amy, I am glad we got the chance to try this again It's amazing to talk to you and get you outside your comfort zone." He said smiling

"Me too, I am truly happy to be here. I think I just needed to hear Sal's words." I said 

"Sal?" He asked

"Yeah, Sal said that you liked me a lot and he knew that I felt the same and to go push myself," I said

"Really? Sal did that?" He said 

"Yeah," I said 

"That's unexpected, to be honest." He said 

" He didn't push you too much right, because if you don't want to be like doing this hanging out, having sex you can always tell me." He said worried

"No no Brian, I want this," I said holding his hand.
