~Raven's pov~
I woke up feeling like I had a thorn in my side. "what happened" I whisper to myself. The memory of the battle came back to me. The last thing I remember was beast boy holding me and before I blacked out I heard a loud roar. I used all the strength I had to stand up. I began walking to my room when I heard crying. At first I started walking towards Starfire's room but it was silent. I began walking to beast boys room when I heard him talking to himself.
~beast boy's pov~
I was currently half merged with the beast. I was talking to him. "Why did you kill those people" I said. "Because they were in our way to kill the guy who shot mate" beast said. "They didn't need to die" I said. "It's their fault for being in my way" beast said. " I can't take being a superhero anymore. I can't even protect Raven" I said. "Well you should let me protect her" beast said. "NO. I'm not letting that happen" I said. "well you don't have much longer " beast said. " That's why I'm leaving on midnight after my birthday" I said. " you really are worthless. The girl you like hates you, the girl you got to love you betrayed you, and you let your family die, and you can't even control the voice in your head" beast said. "SHUT UP" I screamed.
~Raven's pov~
I quickly ran to my room. I can't believe what I just heard. Beast boy is leaving, and he loves me. I've always liked beast boy but I've always thought he doesn't like me. I was filled with joy until I remembered that he said he was going to leave. soon after that I went to sleep.
::The day before beast boy birth day::
It was almost midnight and I was in the common room thinking of what to do.
~beast boy's pov~
I walked in the common room and I see Raven looking at me and she had a worried look in her eye. "Hey, Rea" I said. "Hi what are you doing" she said. "I'm just going to go get some tofu because we ran out" I said nervously. " Beast boy I herd you talking to yourself in your room the other night. please don't leave" she said. I could see tears start to form in her eyes. " I'm sorry Raven I have to go" I said. I begin looking down and walking to the door until Raven gets up and hugs me. " Then take me with you " she said. " Why Raven I thought you hated me " I said. " Beast boy I only act like that to hide my true feelings. Beast boy I..I love you.
