Whilst all people of Fontaine celebrates the end of the prophecy- or the fact that the prophecy's fake, the pretend archon-Furina-used this opportunity to silently slip away from the Opera Epiclese without drawing any attention. It's been a very tiring day, but she forced herself to move.

Now that she's been exposed, what can she do now? Later on, Neuvillette will probably replace her and stand as the new archon of Fontaine. He can handle the issues better than her. Or maybe he'll stand as the nation's guardian, since he's the reincarnated Hydro Dragon Sovereign.

He must've hated her more now, right? After all, she stood as the usurper who stole every right and authority from their kind. And now, she's proven to be a fake. No words can probably describe the hatred that Neuvillette bears for the fake archon.

Furina sighed, as she finally arrived in the Palais Mermonia, after thirty minutes of walking, and transporting using Fontaine's advanced ways of transportation over water. The Palais Mermonia was her home for the past five centuries.

'Nope. Let me correct that.' Furina thought as she shook her head. 'The Hydro Archon's home.'

The Palais Mermonia was the Hydro Archon's home for the past five centuries. With nothing but turmoil and mixed (negative) emotions in her heart, Furina walked inside Palais, straight to her- no, the Hydro Archon's room.

"Furina!" A voice yelled softly, barging onto the room. As it caught Furina's attention, she turned to the source of the voice-Neuvillette, who was standing by the door, his chest falling in and out as he panted. His face, was it pity? Sympathy? ... Longing? Furina refused to believe it. As an actress herself, she found it amazing that Neuvillette could hide his roaring hatred for her almost successfully.

Furina didn't bother to even hide the suitcase beside her. Why need to hide it? She'll probably even be kicked out later on. It's better if she leaves now by herself.

The room was deafeningly silent. Furina hated the thick atmosphere of awkwardness between them. However, the silence was soon broken by the soft continous drops of rain outside. Furina silently stared at the window.

'Is he sad?' She thought, before shaking it off. He must be angry because she's leaving without a single punishment. She then scoffed internally. 'Bold of me to assume I don't have a punishment...'

"Furina," Neuvillette started, calling out to her as he brought Furina back from her land of thoughts to reality.

Then, he told her everything.

Egeria's original sin, the prophecy, Focalors' plan, Furina's purpose, his duty..., everything.

Furina could only listen silently, taking in every information the dragon gave her.

Strangely, her head was blank. What should she feel about this?

Is she supposed to feel proud that she managed to buy Mirror-me time? Angry because her predecessor left so many responsibilities? Be thankful to Neuvillette for saving Fontaine?
