Mithra pov:-

Celling looks so beautiful
Wall is looking good too
The clock is also nice
Random thoughts occupied my mind as I was laying on my bed trying to divert my mind from rishav  as I was too tensed about him not having the breakfast,
What was the urgent work that he didn't even called me once also ,this is so not rishav as he always make sure if I had my lunch or not but today not even one ring I got from him
Hmmmm
My trance was broken by the phone call ring I quickly grabbed my phone to see if it's rishav
But no it's was shiv
I picked up the call

"Hel-"
Before I can say hello she started blabbering
"What hello idiot,total 1 week have been passed and you didn't even bothered to call me once huh?? " Shiv said
" Umm shiv I am sorry but you know na  this married life is too new for me, I mean I am not able to digest this new life so I was just lost you know " I said in a sighing tone
"What happened" Shiv asked
"What" I replied not being able to understand what she was saying
" Your tone says something is off" She said
" Nah it's ok i' am just a bit tired" I said
" Just say it idiot you don't have to be formal with me"she said
This is the reason she's my besti she just knows without me telling her
" Well rishi went to office in hurry without having breakfast and didn't even called me" I said huffing a bit
" Oh so my lover girl is worried about her lover boy hun?? " She said in a teasing tone
" Not now shiv" I said not being in the mood to argue
" Well in that case you should have called him" She advised
" I didn't wanted to disturbed him, you know " I said
" Listen mith I know you trust him but men this days are unpredictable you know what I mean right, I don't wanna scare you but atleast keep an eye on him" She said
' I know what you mean rishi but he is not like that" I said
" I will call you later I have to make dinner for us" I said to avoid her questions
" Ok bye, but don't forget to call me ok?? She said
" Yes yes " I replied and hanged up

Now I am more confused it's not like I don't believe him but  still there's a thought lingering in my mind
I am a Overthinker yes so now I have to divert my mind from this

**In hall***

I was making dinner for us when I heard the door bell sound I quickly turned the flame to medium and went out to check glancing at the clock which reads 11 pm added fuel to my anger
I hurriedly went out to open the door
As I opened the door I saw rishav standing with a big bouquet of rose which was covering his chest area
Rishav:- for you
He said giving me the bouquet
Mithra:- thanks for this, I said as I took the bouquet in my hand and we came inside as rishav closed the door
After placing the bouquet on table I turned towards him and said
" You better don't think that this bouquet is gonna calm me down" I said more like declared
" I know but please foregive me I will never repeat this and also I have a solid reason for my mistake " He said trying to convince me
" You say the reason and I will decide if it's solid or liquid "I said not being affected by him at all
" Well there was an important meeting and the client was from America so due to timeline problem meeting was scheduled urgently "he said
" And" I asked trying to get every information
"And because of that we were not at all prepared so we all team member was too busy in making the presentation due to which I was not able to call you and meeting also went for good 5 hrs so I arrived late today" He said with his head down as if I am his teacher and he's trying to explain why he didn't did his homework
I wanted to laugh but controlling my self I asked
" That's it? "
"Yeah, I hope you understand mithra and from now on if this situation will rise again I will make sure to atleast drop a message so please forgive me please" He said looking at me with sincerity
I wanted to say something but looking at his tired body I just leaved it
Atleast he know he did a mistake
" Ok fine go and get freshed I will serve the dinner " I said walking towards the kitchen
" You forgave me  right?? " He asked
" This time yes" I said and he went up to change

Rishav pov:-

I don't know how to thank god
I mean he saved me today ,oh god thank you so much
I looked at myself in the mirror thing how I lied about the meeting thing but it's the best for her if she stay away from all this
I splashed water on my face one more time and opened the door to go down and have dinner with my sweet  lovely love
bing my phone ringed as I stoped in my track to check the phone
**unknown**  I picked it up
'Hello' I asked
" Hello Mr. Rahitya tryna catch me " A girl voice spoked from the other side of the phone
" Who are you" I asked as mandates voice clicked  in my head "" It was a girl's voice sir"" It rang in my ear
" You are supposed to find that out Mr, so good luck"
Saying that the phone call was cut off
I quickly called vidit
" Hello vidit"
"Yes sir"
" I guess that girl who gave money to mandra called me right now "
" What" Vidit spoke in a astonished tone
" Yes, so know trace the number and find it's location quickly " I said
" Yes sir" He said
" If I will come there mithra will kill me so please try to handle it vidit I trust you"
Vidit laughed a bit and said "yes sir let me check who's that girl"
"Do it" I said and hanged up while going down stairs to have dinner.
