MY STAND IN: The confrontation (JOE x SOL x MING)

Chapter 3

The next day, Joe woke up in Sol's arms, who was like an angel while he was sleeping, as if he looked more divine than usual. Maybe that was in Joe's mind, who now saw Sol with the eyes of a few years ago, full of sympathy. This change was also surprising for him, in fact, this realization of his strong feelings that beat his subconscious even in his deep sleep.

Besides that, Joe had also realized something else, that he had stopped thinking about Ming. It seemed that Sol really was the key to all the advantages.

Joe was looking at Sol so intently, without realizing it. This had made Sol wake up, opening his eyes slowly, still sleepy: 

"Joe, I see you're early.

 Do you know what time it is?

 I would have a meeting with a photographer at 11 o'clock."

 "Don't worry, it's only 9 o'clock.

 You have time to prepare in peace, and to eat something.

 I'm sure mom is already waiting for us with breakfast, ready to impress you." Joe said smiling, while looking at Sol, who was very cute with tousled hair.

After they had both showered separately, finishing their morning routine, both Sol and Joe were starving, plus they needed a good coffee for energy.

As expected, the mother was with a smile on her face, already with a table prepared with goodies.

Welcoming them, the woman wished them Good morning:

"I hope you slept well, especially you, Sol.

If Joe has bothered you with something, please tell me, I'll take care of him."

"I slept very well, dear mother.

Joe took good care of me, in fact, we took good care of each other." Sol declared, looking Joe straight in the eye, full of affection. Joe blushed, and began to smile like a sucker.

"I like what these old ears hear.

C'mon, drink your coffee and eat something!" exclaimed the woman very happy.

During the meal, she looked sometimes at her son, sometimes at Sol and smiled to herself. Surely the woman wanted them together, it would have been heaven for her.

The three had talked about the next projects that both Sol and Joe had in mind. The next day, Sol was going to film an action scene for a series in which he was in a supportive role.

"Finally I see you in action movies too, you're just specialize in that.

So far you've only done BLs and sitcoms." Joe proudly declared.

"I was going to be in the movie with Tong two years ago, but I withdrew, because you know why."

It seemed to the new Joe that he had a lump in his throat at the memory of those moments, in which his body had fallen into the abyss of darkness. Poor Joe...

"I'm sure you'll do great.

I'm going to ask Joe to bring your lunch to the shoot tomorrow.

Your mother-in-law's food will give you even more energy, it's just full of love." declared the woman with her head in clouds of satisfaction.

At the woman's statements, both men blushed with shyness, breakfast ending in a ton of embarrassment.

"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you?" Joe had asked slightly awkwardly.

"It's okay, I'm a big boy, I can handle it.

Plus you have something to do today too, right?"

"Wut wants me to continue with some filming for some action scenes.
