Secrets

Hiro's POV

Darius, Kenji and Brooklyn all snuck out last  and almost died in the raptor pen so now everyone's awake and they're in serious trouble. "I hope they don't cancel the lab tour." Emma whispered.

"I doubt it, Darius and Kenji will probably have to miss out, but the tour should still go on." She smiled at me then when back to her bunk.

-the next day-

Still Hiro's POV

We were all standing in front of a massive pile of dino poop, it was their punishment for sneaking out, I actually felt sorry for them.

"Enjoy cleaning this up, boys." Roxie said as she tossed them shovels. Ben gagged at the smell and I don't blame him, it was disgusting. "Roxie's awesome" Emma whispered, I nodded.

Emma's POV

I'm still trying to figure out who's my favorite counselor!!

"We're going to the genetics lab." She continued as she lead us to the jeep. Brooklyn took a photo of the two of them before continuing to the jeep. Dave tossed Darius a bottle, "Cologne. That'll help with the smell. And the ladies. What-What?" Dave said as he walked to the front "But mostly the smell. The stench of dinosaur poo can really linger." He finished.

We all climbed into the back of the jeep, I was sitting in between Sammy and Hiro, Hiro was next to Brooklyn. Ben and Yaz were on the other side.

"What? But..." Darius sighed before Roxie started the engine. I felt really sorry for Darius, he was literally nicknamed Dino-nerd and he won't even get to see the genetics lab.

"Ugh. I'm still dropping followers?" Brooklyn said, maybe she nice after all, "When are we gonna see cool stuff?" She read off her phone "Chill, dude, I just got here." She said as she ten slumped down in her spot. Maybe Brooklyn is human?...

"So, what's your next video?" Sammy asked "Ooh, maybe there's baby dino eggs in the lab. Everyone loves a baby video." She continued. "Eeeee, I almost forgot!" I said "We're actually going to see dinosaur eggs!!" "Whatever it is, it'll be cool." Brooklyn answered. I turned to Sammy. (Yes I'm didn't write the hand sanitizer scene, if you're mad about it write your own book!)

"Hi, I'm Emma, this is my boyfriend Hiro." I said with a smile. She smiled back "Cool! How did you get your invitation?" She asked. "Hiro entered a competition where you design a new security system for the park, they decided they add his idea later on so he got to bring a plus one." I answered with a smile. "That's awesome!" She replied.

"What's good, Brooklanders?" Brooklyn said as we started to get closer to the lab. "Today, I'm coming to you from one of Jurassic World's coolest remote genetics labs!" She continued.

As soon as we entered the lab we were met with a bright white room, vials, multiple screens, and scientists were everywhere. 

Sammy gasped "It's so shiny in here!" One screen showed a string of DNA, I noticed the incubators for the eggs and excitedly pointed them out to Hiro and kept holding his hand.

"This is a rare window into the parks inner workings." Roxie started "Not just anyone can come here, you know." She continued. "Yep this is where the magic happens." Dave stated. "I didn't realize how amazing the stuff leading up to the park was." I said to Hiro. "I mean I get it's replicating extinct species but still!"

Hiro smiled at me then told me about some of the tech in the lab. "Doc Wu-Wu!" Dave explained as he saw the scientist "Guess who's ready to have a blastocyst from the pastocyst? The mitosis with the mosisis!" He exclaimed. "What?" I whispered to Hiro. "I'll explain his joke later." He answered.
