Fearless Vampire Killers One shots

I was walking through the forest that led from my parents house to the flat my brother shares with his band mates.

"I can't believe my parents kicked me out. I mean, what did I ever do to them?"

I was talking to myself when I heard a rustling drom behind me. I turned, but there was nothing there.

"Hello? Is anybody there?"

There was silence. I carried on walking. A little while later, I heard the rustling sound again, but this time it was coming from in front of me.

"Hello?"

I said, my voice trembling with fear.

"Is anybody there?"

Then in the blink of an eye, something pounced out of the bush and pushed me up against a tree, gripping me by my throat.

"HELPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I screamed.

"No one will hear you out here my love."

He laughed showing his yellowish fangs, then sunk his teeth into my neck.

"DREW HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Drew's P.O.V.

"DREW HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Guys, did you hear something?"

I asked slowing down to listen out for anything.

"HELPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The others stopped.

"It's coming from that direction."

Laurence said pointing towards the forest.

"Come on then guys."

I loaded my gun and the others readied their weapons, before dashing into the forest following the faint screams.

We came to an opening and what I saw broke my heart.  My own sister was being fed on by the cardinal. What was she even doing out here at this time anyway?

"Kiera?"

Her tear stained face looked my way.

"Drew, please help me."

I couldn't concentrate on anything. Her shirt was drenched in the blood that was pouring from the gaping holes in her neck.

Laurence drew his sword and ran towards the cardinal, but the cardinal was paying attention and with a swish of his arm, smacked him into a tree.

I looked over to Kier who was loading his crossbow.

"Kier."

His gaze wandered over to me.

"Don't do anything stupid.  I don't think Beverage would be pleased if he had to carry you back in a body bag."

I smirked at the fact I was making jokes in a situation like this.

"Don't you worry wooly. I don't think the body bag will contain me tonight. Not so sure about Beveridge though."

He laughed then went around the side to get a better shot.

I knew I had to do something, so I checked that my gun was loaded then headed around the back of the cardinal. Unfortunately, he is not easily surprised and saw that coming; and before I knew it, I was crumpled up in a heap on the floor - kinda like Beveridge - every part of my body aching.

I looked up to see luke swinging his mace back and forth before releasing it and striking the cardinal right in the heart. He screeched out in pain the fled the forest.

Shane ran over to me in a similar way Kier did to Kiera.

"Are you ok? Can you walk?"

"Shane, I'm fine. I just ache in a few places. Our priority now is Kiera."

Time lapse - Back at flat

Kiera was sitting on the table whilst Shane tended to her wounds.

"Shane seriously, I'm-

"Don't you dare tell me you're fine Kiera. You've just been attacked by a vampire, there is no way in hell you're fine."

He cared for her like she was his sister, all the guys did. Ever since I moved out,  mum and dad have given her nothing but shit, so she would spend as much time as she could over here.

"Now please Kiera, get some sleep."

I was brought out of my day dream by Shane telling Kiera to get some sleep.

"Please don't put yourself into any more danger."

"I'll try not to drew."

She laughed then began to climb the stairs, but stopped. She turned to me.

"Hey drew? What's gunna happen now? Mum and dad kicked me out so I can't go there."

I chuckled.

"Kiera, you are more than welcome to stay here. We're your family and we always will be, no matter what."

I hope you like the story/one shot (not really sure what to call it) feedback welcomed, criticism too. Have more ideas for another one just not enough time to write it. Until next time my fellow lost hearts.
