"𝐘𝐄𝐒, 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐌𝐄, 𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐌 𝐍𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐄," Y/N nonchalantly replied still sitting on her knees, the weight got a bit lighter after he let go of her. She decided to look up at him after avoiding his blood red eyes all this time, the usual daring and rebellious personality of Y/N was coming back, slowly.

Sukuna was quiet. He was still lost in his own world. Her full name was something that he never thought he would ever hear in his immortal life again. The Satou family, the clan, were people he held some kind of special feelings towards them, feelings of gratitude and debt. He made eye contact her and silence still lingered between them, but there was no tension, at least for her. The king of curses could see some remnants of someone he knew in his past life as a human in her own soul, that was the reason he was so reactive and docile to her.

"Satou Y/N, from the Satou Clan." He repeated kneeling down to her level, something that not in a billion years would do.

"What's going on? Shouldn't have you cut my head off already?" She asked looking around for some of her limps laying there severed because of him.

"You're a damn Satou."

Y/N was starting to get pissed at how many times he was repeating her last name. She hated it with all her might because of her biological parents, her main abuser and who was supposed to be her mother, her pillar in her first years of life.

She glared at him, getting another negative —positive for him— reaction from her, "Okay, knock it off. Stop saying that name."

Sukuna smirked mischievous, "What? You hate it? Well let me just— Satou, Satou, Satou, Satou. You're a Satou."

"ነፕዐየ ጎፕ."

It was sudden and powerful, her voice made the whole domain tremble for a few but long seconds. Her eyes we're glowing dangerously and her aura was no longer submissive or somber, it was rebellious, mad and resilient.

It even shook his core, shaking it and waking up a long forgotten feeling as it took a smirk out of him with an amused chuckle. "I'm surprised you still have that ability after a whole millennium, onna."

Y/N's patience was running out and her hands formed into fists. "What are you talking about? This is the first time I see you, are you mad?"

"No, well– yeah, but that's not the point. You just forgot, you gotta remember," He flicked his finger on her forehead, taking a whine from her.

"Forgot..?" She pondered, pensative and closing her eyes to try and remember. Tilting her head to the side and crossing her arms, she looked through the files of memories in her burnt brain.

It was true, there was a sense of familiarity with the supreme curse in front of him and this weird place too, but  she couldn't recall what specifically. Y/N gave him another annoyed long whine, something was blocking her memory access.

While she was busy, Sukuna was looking through Itadori's eyes. He already saw the unalived body of hers beautifully resting on a flower bedding. It brought him back some unpleasant memories of the past which he couldn't shrug off that easily. He listened to the conversation too, but like before, he did not want to make any remarks.

He opened his eyes and he was back where he left, not that he moved in the first place, and observed how hard Y/N was trying to grasp onto something in her brain. Maybe it was a sealing made by someone to block out her memories, a technique to spare her perhaps, but sooner or later the truth always comes to the light.

"Okay, stop thinking I can see smoke coming out of your head." Sukuna sighed irritated with the current situation.

"That's mean."

"I know, I'm a mean and worse."

"You're no fun."

"And she's coming back."

"Who's back?"

He covered his face with his hand and dragged it down to get rid of the frustration growing inside him, "Nevermind."

This was going to be harder than he hoped for.

The King of curses was thinking hard about this one, he couldn't simply make a mutual deal with her and cut her off to go back to the living world, that's not how it works. She's not even his vessel and either way she ended up here, in his territory. How is that even possible?

"Sukuna."

"Mhm?"

"Do you have any connections to my family?"

It left him astounded with that question and uncovered his eyes as he kept them hidden behind his hand while reasoning for possible solutions.

"As in?"

"As in making a 'pact' with a white haired woman in a snowy day."

Sukuna stared at her with widened eyes. No one was supposed to know about that, ever.

"What did you say?" There was a long silence between them, only staring at each other.

"Am I cursed because of you?"
