One Bot's death, Is another's chance to Rise (part 2)

The Decepticon ship hovers above a mountain that's been split in half. Hidden between the twin peaks is a tunnel that leads down to a large mining operation. What are the Decepticons mining? Energon, in its raw form, it takes on the shape of blue crystals. However, when refined it is the lifeblood and fuel of Autobots and Decpeticons alike. Starscream lowers an elevated shaft down into the mine, he shows Megatron the large operation with pride and arrogance, thinking he'd get praise from his leader.

"Of the energon deposits we have located while you were away, Lord Megatron, this one is by far the most significant." He pauses to let his master look about. "The drones have been mining without pause during your absence, and have amassed quite a stockpile. You there!" He shouts in a demanding voice, pointing to one of the miners. "Fetch me a sample."

"Starscream!" A commanding and booming voice calls. Megatron lumbers out of the shadows approaching his first lieutenant. "Now that I have returned, I will issue the commands." He says, his voice carrying a certain tone that leaves room for no questions.

"I- understand, Lord Megatron..." Starscream says begrudgingly. "Then as your humble servant, shall I ready the space bridge to bring forth the Decepticon army you have surely gathered during your 3 years in space." Starscream says humbly, yet there's a hint of authority, he yearns to be the leader, just like Megatron however as long as Megatron lives he can not command the Decepticons.

"My army will come. But my time away has yielded a more... intriguing means of materializing them." He says, enunciating every syllable of the word 'intriguing'. He brings out a strange jagged purple crystal. A fine purple mist or aura emanating off of it. He holds it up, showing Starscream what he has. "A solidified form of the matter the ancient texts referred to as the blood of Unicron."

"Unicron the destroyer..." Starscream says as he marvels at the crystal shard in Megatron's hand. "But it is said that his blood is the Anti-Spark." He says, full of skepticism and curiosity.

"Plucked from cosmic shores, gaze upon... Dark Energon!" Megatron says ignoring Starscream's questionable tone.

"Legends tell it has the power to... revive the dead..." Starscream says, slowly realizing what his master was planning.

"We require only a cadaver to be certain..." Megatron says without hesitation, looking at Starscream expectantly. "Are you willing to make the ultimate sacrifice?" This was a test of Starscream's loyalty, the Con grew nervous and stuttered thinking of a way out, then he remembered something that would spare his spark, and make his Lord very happy.

"T-That may not not be necessary... if I may, Lord Megatron," He says gesturing for his Lord to follow him. He brought Megatron to the lifeless body of Cliffjumper. In an arrogant tone he said, "Consider it a welcome home present." He looks up at Megatron, who smirks deviously, very happy with the sight before him.

Back within the Autobot secret base, hidden in an old abandoned missile silo, Optimus was just wrapping up his explanation of their war and why they are on Earth.

"And since you now know of our existence, I fear that as of last night, the Decepticons know of yours." Optimus said, his voice very monotone, yet it carried a matter of grimm importance.

"Got it, if we see any strange vehicles call 911. Can we go now?" Jack replied, Rose snickered at his response, which earned a side glance from the Prime. She quickly silenced herself. Miko, also looking rather displeased, whispered yelled at Jack.

"Are you insane?! I am living a dream here in Botswana, and I will not allow you or anyone else to shatter it!"

"It is best that you 3 remain here under our watch..." Optimus said, Miko looks happy, Jack seems worried. Rose also looks skeptical, but she trusts the Prime. "At least until we can determine our enemies intentions." Ratchet then came closer to Optimus, and in a hushed voice said,
