“we fight, fix and stay. That's maturity”

And I was left with Damon, again. What's new.

“I thought you said you weren't interested in teenage boys. You lied to me.” He suddenly said.

“I'm still not interested in them. I don't see why do I have to lie about it.” I said looking outside not meeting his eyes while he threw me looks from time to time.

I'm amazed by the change of interaction, we were very good at interacting but what changed?

“Then what is that kid for you?” He asked.

“An employee, a boy, an human?” I said more like a question not understanding what is he referring to?

“I thought you develop a like for him. The gaze you give him made me think that.” He said taking a turn to an alley. We are not far from my home anymore but the conversation was leading to something else.

“I don't see any difference. Sometimes, it's so difficult to understand you.” I said looking at him confused.

“So now I'm the problem.” He said steering the wheel.

“I didn't say that, I just think you are really confusing.” I said.

“Of course! I understand.” He said more sarcastically becoming distant.

No, you don't!  I wanted to say but restrained myself to say more.

We arrived at my house. And not even seconds after that, I opened the door.

“Thanks for the ride!” I said and left.

I didn't want to stay and burden myself with guilt he threw at me.
Yes, I didn't have to talk to him like that but yes, he didn't have to be this confusing.

I arrived at the doorstep and heard the engine of his car, he left my property.

I entered my house and relieved a deep sigh finally out of the whole show this afternoon.

“What a grand press conference you had there, if I didn't know you better I would have believe every words you've said.” Lidy said smirking at me with a mug in her hands, looks like she was waiting for me to make appearance to just say these words.

“Don't joke around, they were a pain in the ass.” I said throwing my purse on the couch and made myself comfortable.

“Damon surely was a great performer, he was looking at you dreamily. Like you were his lost lover or something.” She said laughing at her quicky remarks.

“Believe me, he is such an headache.” I said.

“Why? What happened?” She asked curious.

So as my best friend, I had to inform her about the little interactions earlier.
