To everyone who gave a chance, thank you so much. I am writing this to share a few of my thoughts. This is an accidental story that found its way to me, and I am glad I had the opportunity to write it. I especially loved writing Kaivalya's story. I deleted this story three times before finally writing the current first chapter, and it went through nearly ten edits. Originally, I planned for this to be Kaivalya's and Arpita's book, but as I kept writing, I felt it should focus on Kaivalya. Indeed, as I have stated in Arpita's POV, Kaivalya is the biggest victim. But her children were victims at one point too.
Arpita's point of view is shown to not show why or how they hate her. It is shown to show that how the mindset of the kids and children will be affected when they do not have healthy parents. Once the question raises that... if the couple have separated long ago... the kids might have got much healthier environment to grow up.
If you also notice... as Kaivalya held on to the home... everyone kept enjoying it while she was in misery. It is what it is.
Changing Seasons is not only Kaivalya's story but also Sharath's, Ramesh's, and Arpita's. I was genuinely happy while writing the last chapter because, in the end, Kaivalya receives abundant love. If you notice, Kaivalya compares herself to a beggar on the streets in the first chapter, waiting for scraps of love. Neither Kaivalya nor anyone else should beg for love. We all deserve love.
If you look at the front cover, a woman with a sad expression is having coffee in the rain, while on the back cover, a woman is dancing in the rain. I chose this intentionally to reflect Kaivalya's journey. My mom asked me to conclude this story by having Kaivalya go back to her husband and children after they learned their lesson. I didn't write anything after the divorce because I want everyone who reads this to have their own conclusion.
Please do read this book. This is my debut book. This is now available on Amazon Kindle, Amazon and Flipkart. Please do drop your precious review on this book and shower some love. Changing Seasons by Priyabolagani
