                            A New Woman

A couple years had passed and Donte and I had finally moved out of our homes we once shared with our families. Since he had taught me to drive and I got my license a month ago, I was now pushing a white Mercedes. I had also taken care of my aunty. I kept her bills paid, thanks to my man.

Donte was now sitting on top of Long Beach as king of the streets. He was only answering to Jovan. Donte had also decided to make Xavier his right hand man. I decided to push what happened with me and Xavier in high school to the back of my mind. We were adults now, and in the real world. Plus, I was madly in love with Donte.

After going shopping with Robin, who had became my closet friend, I was finally at home and decided to cook a nice meal for Donte. He's usually home about 12 midnight, but he assured me he'd be home for dinner about 7pm.

I whipped up some lobster and streak, with a side of mashed potatoes and string beans. I then poured us some white wine and sat our plates and drinks on the beautiful glass dinner table. And as soon as I lit my caramel scented candle, I heard the front door unlock.

"Sunday, I'm home." Said Donte. I met him at the door, spotting kisses on his perfect lips. "I have dinner ready." I said as he took a seat at the dinner table. I helped him take off his black Timberland boots and then I took my seat next to his. "This shit looks so good, baby. Thank you." Said Donte as he devoured his food. "So look, this weekend, Jovan wants us all at his house. He's having a dinner party." Said Donate.

"Since when did Jovan start having dinner parties? He's usually extremely private." I asked as I sipped my wine. "Things have changed for our side for the better." Said Donate as he then stood up. "The streets is ours, baby!" Said donate as he downed his drink. "Get me another drink. And bring your fine ass to the living room with nothing on." Said Donate.

The man turned me on. I loved how he'd demand sex on the spot. All the money he brings in, hell, I had no choice but to please my man, and on top of all that I loved every bit of it.

I slipped out of my black silk shorts and top. I poured him another glass of wine. And walked into the living room to see Donte on our white L shaped sofa with his manhood sticking straight up and his shirt completely off.

He downed the drink and I gave him and then pulled me on top of him. He tongue kissed me aggressively as he hugged on top my body tightly. He then slipped himself inside me and I completely lost it. My eyes rolled to the ceiling as I bounded up and down on his joystick. "Awwwww baby— why you fucking me so good?" I screamed out. He continued to hit every spot until I became weak in the knees and creamed all over him.

Before I knew it me and Donte were now laid up in bed, cuddled up. His phone started ringing like crazy. I just knew it wasn't another woman. There's nobody else on this earth finer than me, hell not even Beyoncé herself.

"Baby who is that?" I asked as I yawned. Donate checked his phone, "it's X." He said as he sat up in bed. "It's damn near 1am." I groaned.

"Sunday, let me take this." He said as he then walked out the room. After about 30 minutes, donate came back into bed. "What was that all about?"

"X finna stay with us for a couple weeks until him and Robin get shit back on track."

My spirit could've left my body. I still remember X tryna fuck on me in high school and me and X agreed to never Donte. And since then, X has become a tab bit more fine. But since he and my girl Robin were locked in, and of course I'm with Donte, we never really crossed paths. Donte would tell me about X and Robin, but Robin would never tell me about X.

"You cool with that?" Asked Donate. "Do I have a choice?" I asked as I rolled my eyes. "Sunday, you know you the queen of this castle, and we've been knowing X since school, let the nigga get on his feet. Plus I gotta take care of my soldiers anyway." Said Donate as he laid down and cuddled me. I rolled my eyes again, "so when is coming over?"

"He'll be here in a couple hours. When he gets here let him in and show him the guest room. I gotta get some sleep Sunday." He then said sternly.

One thing Donte didn't play about was his sleep.

I got out of bed and quickly showered since me and Donte had been making love back to back since he got home. And this was often. Ever since I lost my virginity to him, I couldn't keep him off me and most days, he couldn't keep me off of him.

I slipped into my orange silk gown. And went downstairs. I poured another glass of wine and flipped through the tv channels since I had to stay awake for Xavier to get here. I decided on reruns of Girlfriends as i sipped my wine. Toni reminded me so much of myself.

45 minutes had passed and I finally heard a knock at the door. I quickly got up so Donte wouldn't hear any noise.

"Where my nigga D at?" Asked Xavier all loud and ghetto. "Xavier, Donte is sleeping and you need to be quiet. You know how he gets. I'll show you to your room."

I locked the front door and led the way to guest room which was located downstairs, towards the back of the house, with a nice view of our backyard. As I walked through the house I could feel Xavier's eyes on my ass.

"What happened with you and Robin?" I Asked as I opened the door to his room. "Shiiid, hell if I know. All I do is try to be a good nigga to her ass." Said X as put his suitcase in the closet and then leaned against the wall.

"This room is nice. Got a big house, two cars parked in the driveway... damn. You know I can't help but think, what would our lives be like had you been mine?" Asked Xavier.

"I could tell Donte that you talking like this." I said refusing to answer his question. Xavier chuckled and then walked towards me and cornered me in the corner of the room. "You could tell him, but you won't. You didn't tell him about all the other times. And you never told him about me tryna smash in school, now did you?"
"X, move back."
"Did you?" He snapped.
"No, I didn't."
"Right. So how would that look if you tried to tell him now, Sunday? Shit looks untrustworthy to me."
"No, nigga it looks like loyalty. Now move." I snapped back while removing myself from the corner.

X chuckled some more. "Maybe me and Robin would have a better relationship if she looked like you." He said as he flopped on the bed, and turned on the tv. "Close the door." He added.

I closed the door and sighed out of relief. It might be a world of shit now that Xavier is here. He's been wanting me since he first saw me. And on top of that I couldn't lie, X has always been fine. Them dreads, his eyes. Why did he have to move in here?
