Babe knows that Charlie loves him, loves him a lot. The younger was ready to sacrifice his life to save Babe's and Babe knew that Charlie would do it again in a heartbeat and yet, here he was convinced that Charlie was cheating on him. And, honestly, Babe knew better than to jump to conclusion, having already experienced confusing Charlie and Jeff as lovers but Charlie's recent behavior had created a confusion in Babe.
Babe was conflicted – mind versus heart, his mind convinced Charlie was cheating but his heart knew that his Charlie will never do that to him.
This entire turmoil started ever since North posted that tweet on the X-Hunter Twitter page. Alan had tasked North and Sonic to post snippets of their training for social media engagement. They had gone around taking pictures during training and posted a bunch of them when one of them went viral.
North had tweeted a photo of Charlie in the stand after his drive around the lap with the caption "training training training training" and easily everyone understood why the tweet vent viral.

Charlie looked raw. His hair down, ends covered in sweat. His hand at the back of his head, probably trying to straighten his hair after removing his helmet. His eyes looking down, lips in a straight line, and the training suite he had on highlighted his broad shoulders and lean body. The photo showcased Charlie's natural charm and handsomeness.
Babe still recalled being a trance, as he took in the photo. His boyfriend looked good; heck he looked fucking good. Babe did not know how Charlie did it, how he could so cute and hot all the same time. The picture made Babe feel things, things that had him tempted to drag Charlie to the locker room. He took out his own phone, wanting, no, needing to save that photo and that was when he noticed the comments.
The majority was wholesome, mostly talking about how Charlie's hard work is paying off as he repeatedly clinched positions in the recent seasons. The immense pride he felt at his boyfriend's achievement and efforts bubbled inside him as he read the comments of the fans appreciating his boyfriend's efforts and hard work.
Charlie had yet to beat Babe, but Babe could feel the distance and time between their cars getting shorter and shorter, eliciting a competitive streak in Babe. It was friendly competition, both training harder, keeping each other on their toes but only on the racetrack, once they went home, the competition was long forgotten as they snuggled into each other on their shared bed.
He told Charlie to check out the tweets, wanting the puppy to see and recognize that a lot of people like and appreciate him too. The puppy was confused, not really understanding why everyone was excited for a viral tweet but sat next to Babe as Babe showed him the tweet and comments, smiling and laughing with the team.
