Chapter 2: Ripley Vs Rodriguez

It was just another chapter in this Dakota Kai and Megan Zayn rivalry as NXT women's champion Rhea Ripley takes on Raquel Rodriguez, Megan was of course was going to be at ringside in support of her friend.

However for the past few weeks since the rivalry with Kota has started, Tegan has been noticeably absent and she was beginning to worry, though Meg knew that she asked Regal for some time off and he granted it.

So for now she was paired with Rhea until Tegan came back to which she didn't mind as she and Rhea have had some fun teaming together not only now but in the past.

The two friends were in a far part of Full Sail, talking about Rhea's upcoming match against Raquel and both knew that Kota would try and do something which is another reason why Megan wanted to be out there.

Elsewhere Dakota had just walked right up to Johnny, to which he backed away slightly and asked "what do you want Kota?" She smiles as Johnny still uses her nickname "a talk about Megs" she states.

"Why?" Johnny asks "is it so hard to believe that I still care about my best friend?" Dakota asks as Johnny nods "yes, especially with your attitude as of late" Johnny noted though that didn't bother Kota as she still wants to talk about Megan.

To which very reluctantly Johnny agreed to and the two walked to a sheltered part of Full Sail before Raquel's match against Rhea.

The younger Zayn bangs on the mat to try and get Rhea back in the ring, the crowd was firmly behind Rhea and throughout the match of course, Megan kept a close eye on Dakota who for some reason hadn't gotten involved.

Which was very unlike this new version of Dakota Kai, even the commentators have picked up on this and noted it was strange, backstage Johnny watched the match his mind still reeling from what Kota said to him.

Ciampa appears "do we have a winner yet?" He asks Johnny who shakes his head "nope, still going on" he says as Ciampa noticed he seemed a bit different than usual "you OK?" He asks Johnny who nods "yeah, I am. Why'd you ask?"

"It just that you don't seem yourself" Tommaso says worried as Johnny smiles a little, despite having a rivalry with each other, Ciampa bringing Megan into it as well, he still cared about him "I'm doing alright, it's probably just this Undisputed Era storyline."

Tommaso nods but shrugs it off as he knew he wouldn't get clear answer from Johnny since he was stubborn and he probably knew that Meg wouldn't know what happens.

"The winner of the match Rhea Ripley" Megan got in the ring and celebrated with Rhea, the crowd cheered as Raquel rolled out of the ring and the two headed backstage.

I'm pretty sure that it's two more weeks before TakeOver: Portland and the heel turns of both Meg & Johnny, I decided to change from three weeks before to four to make things easier.

Also what DID Kota tell Johnny?
