Forbidden Fate

- Chapter 1 - 'day one'

This is a story about two boys (who i know personally) that fell in love (they didn't) and how they are a perfect match.
It's a fanfic about two of my classmates. Enjoy!

(D's POV)
Diego was a normal 14 year old boy. At least normal to some grade... he went to a school which was basically rich kids heaven. Or hell for those who hate being controlled. When the boy first went to that school, he was looking around at all those people and thought: "man, what a bunch of spoiled brats."
And you might think 'oh he sounds so relatable' and stuff, but he's genuinely a weird crackhead who has the IQ and humour of a 9 year old who grew up with adult content.

So moving on...
His class looked average except for the small number of students. There were 6 boys and 8 girls in his class and at the first glance they seemed nice, but if you dig too deep you'll see how weird they actually all are. And not weird in a funny and cool way but weird in a weird way.

Entering the room, he sat down at his assigned desk and looked around. The school was on the ground floor of a normal apartment building and looked like an art gallery. All the doors were blue and each classroom had a rectangular window, with a view of the hallway, which people often used to stare at students working on school stuff. On the other side of the classroom, there was a huge window, which took up the whole wall, and a glass door. He observed the room carefully and each person that walked in. He decided wether he wanted to get closer to a person or not, based on their clothing, expression and posture. After about 10 minutes all the students were there, except for the one, who was supposed to be sitting next to him. The little etiquette on the table read "Ion". He had no idea how someone would pronounce that and the moment he started thinking about it, the teacher walked in. Only seconds after her, a boy in a grey tee, which Diego thought suited him perfectly, opened the door. He entered the room, face flushed and sweating. He had obviously been running. He looked around for a second, saw the teacher, the time and then his desk. He rushed over. Diego's heart skipped a beat as he watched Ion walk over with his red face, but he brushed it off as relating to his stress.

The teacher welcomed everyone and said some nice words. Afterwards she suggested the class would play an introduction game. Diego was fired up and couldn't wait to tell the others about him. He was obviously a huge extrovert with an observant personality. So they sat in a circle, Diego opposite of some blonde girl.
"Hello, I'm Daan and ...."
The introductions were basically a blur for him. He had forgotten a persons name by the time someone else started speaking. Except for one, which he was sure he'd remember forever.
"Hey, I'm Ion, I'm thirteen and my hobby is playing ping-pong."
The words echoed in his head over and over, remembering every word, tone and emotion in it. Two people later it was his turn.
"Uh hi, I'm Diego... I'm uh fourteen and I like to play soccer.."
He felt his face heat up a bit, his answer had been the complete opposite of what he wanted to sound like. There wasn't even a hint of confidence, like he'd hoped. He sighed internally, but decided to move on from that incident. The rest of the time he stopped listening and zoned out.

After a while the teacher said something he couldn't remember for the life of him and everyone got up and returned to their desks.
He couldn't help but watch his seat neighbour sit down. He looked so pretty... but of course Diego couldn't admit that to himself so he decided to call it envy. He 'envied' his looks, his style, his gorgeous smile and basically everything about that boy. He had to befriend him, no matter what.
And it turned out to be pretty easy in the end~
