"Morning" Rowan greeted Calliope who was drinking her morning tea while reading the newspaper. She was wearing her usual attire; a dirty white, silk halter top, button up with with a ribbon strap loosely tied on her neck. She paired it with black slacks, black red bottom heels and her hair tied in a formal bun with drop diamond earrings and a silver watch.
"Good morning. Want some tea?" She offered which Rowan refused.
"No, thanks. I'm drinking lemon water." Rowan said and took a sip while staring at Calliope who got her eyes glued on her Ipad. "What are you reading?" She asked.
"A couple died near Plaka yesterday." Calliope started while Rowan came closer and peeked beside her. "Based on some articles, similar cases begins to appear since 1980. People gone missing and some found with wounds from some sort of weapon."
"And the police didn't find the killers?"
"Well, they abandoned the case since no enough evidence are gathered." They looked at each other before Rowan smirked.
"Let meee handle this. I need a vacation anyways. Plus, I need an excuse to visit Greece." Rowan said, taking her drink while walking towards her room when they noticed Winston walking towards the kitchen.
Fly Storm International Airport, Roseville (21:30)
Calliope parked near the runway, but enough distance to be safe. She gave Rowan the briefcase when a car parked beside hers. They both looked at the two men emerging from them.
"Hey, Rowan babe." Victor said after taking of his glasses and winking flirtatiously at Rowan who gave him a glare.
"Can we help you?" Calliope asked, her eyes looking at Rainer coldly.
"Were here to help."
"Help? If anything, you're just in my way."
"Let's be a team. We know people abroad. We have the devices too. Let us help you." Rowan rolled her eyes like it was the most lame excuse she ever heard.
"Is that suppose to convince us? How do we know you don't have something against us?" - Calliope
"Then, let us just come and we promise to keep off your way. We'll book a separate room and conduct pur own investigation."
"It's still the same case! Can't you find something--" Calliope raised her palm to stop Rowan which she did. A couple moments of silence before Calliope said;
"Fine. You can come. I'll even arrange a separate room for you."
"What?! Calli!" Calliope turned to Rowan and hugged her goodbye while whispering.
"I'll take care of this." They looked at each other before nodding in agreement.
Rowan walked towards the plane. Calliope signalled Victor to follow but she stopped Rainer with her hands on his chest. Rainer traced his gaze from her hands to her face with a questioning look.
"I believe they can handle this by themselves. You should go, Mr. Kim." She said and walked pass him while Rainer remained on his spot, watching Victor follow behind Rowan.
A few steps away, Calliope stopped.
"You better watch your backs." She said before finally getting in her car and driving away, leaving Rainer frozen in his spot.
Planka, Athens
Rowan and Victor arrived at their suite after a 12 hours flight. The interior was very modern. It has two connecting bedroom with king sized beds.
