The air in the house was filled with a sense of quiet anticipation as the members prepared for their day. Taehyung and Jungkook stood side by side in the kitchen, sipping on cups of coffee, their eyes meeting over the rim of their mugs. Taehyung broke the silence, a hint of amusement in his voice. "You okay this morning, Kookie?" he asked. "You seem quieter than usual."

Jungkook shrugged, trying to play it cool. "I'm fine," he replied, taking a nonchalant sip of his coffee. "Just... lost in thought, I guess." Taehyung raised an eyebrow, a small smirk playing at his lips. "Care to share what's on your mind?" he prodded, leaning against the kitchen counter.  Jungkook felt his cheeks flush slightly at Taehyung's question, a mixture of nervousness and anticipation coursing through him. He averted his gaze, pretending to be suddenly very interested in the contents of his coffee mug. "It's nothing," he mumbled, a weak attempt at brushing off the question.

Taehyung chuckled softly, his smirk growing wider. "Oh, come on, Kookie," he teased, moving closer to the maknae. "I can see the gears turning in your head. Spill it." Jungkook's heartrate quickened as Taehyung closed the distance between them, leaning in slightly closer. He fought to keep his voice steady, struggling to find the right words. "It's just..." he began, swallowing hard. "Last night, after we talked... I can't stop thinking about it."

Taehyung's smirk softened into a gentle smile, his voice lowered to a hush. "Me too," he admitted, his gaze never leaving Jungkook's. "I kept thinking about our conversation, about... us." Taehyung reached out to rest his hand on Jungkook's arm, his touch light but deliberate. "We're taking things slowly, remember?" he said, his tone reassuring. "No pressure, no expectations."

Jungkook felt a shiver run down his spine at the feel of Taehyung's hand on his arm. He tried to ignore the fluttering in his stomach, nodding in agreement. "Yeah," he managed to say, his voice sounding a bit strangled. "Slowly." Taehyung chuckled softly again, his thumb gently rubbing circles on Jungkook's arm. "You're not making this easy, Kookie," he teased, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I can practically hear those thoughts racing through your mind right now."

Jungkook felt his cheeks flush even more, his body betraying him in the most embarrassing way. He muttered a soft "shush" under his breath, trying to sound annoyed, but it came out more like a shy plea. Taehyung's smirk turned into a full-blown grin, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You're so cute when you're flustered," he said, his tone a mix of teasing and affection. "Almost makes me want to keep messing with you just to see those adorable blushes."

Jungkook playfully glared at Taehyung, his expression a mix of annoyance and affection. "Shut up," he mumbled, trying to sound grumpy but failing miserably. "You're enjoying this way too much." Taehyung chuckled again, unable to contain his laughter. "Oh, I absolutely am," he confessed, leaning in slightly closer. "Seeing you all flustered and shy is quickly becoming one of my favourite new hobbies."

Jungkook let out a frustrated sigh, his attempts to maintain any semblance of cool composure crumbling under Taehyung's gaze. "You're insufferable," he muttered, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Taehyung's smirk widened, his hand on Jungkook's arm sliding down to lightly grasp his wrist. "And you love it," he teased, his voice low and dripping with playful confidence.

Jungkook felt his heart flutter at Taehyung's words, a mix of embarrassment and excitement coursing through him. He tried to come up with a clever response, but all that came out was a mumbled "Shut up" as his gaze darted down to their intertwined wrists. Taehyung chuckled softly, finding immense amusement in Jungkook's flustered state. He took a step closer, closing the remaining distance between them, his body now mere inches away from the younger man's. He gently let go of Jungkook's wrist, his hand now resting on his hip.

Taehyung's gaze softened, his eyes locking onto Jungkook's. "You know, you're only making this more difficult for us," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Trying to take things slow when you look at me with those big, innocent doe eyes. It's driving me crazy." Jungkook felt his heart skip a beat at Taehyung's words, the heat in his cheeks growing more intense. He swallowed hard, trying to find his voice. "I... I can't help it," he mumbled, his body moving closer to Taehyung on its own accord. "You're the one who's being all... all flirty."

Taehyung's smirk returned, his grip on Jungkook's hip tightening slightly. "And you're the one blushing and stuttering like a schoolgirl," he teased, his gaze never leaving Jungkook's. "Which is adorable, by the way, but also incredibly distracting." Jungkook huffed indignantly, pretending to be annoyed, but his body was betraying him, pressing even closer to Taehyung's. "It's not my fault," he protested feebly. "You're just so... you."

As the two men stood there, their bodies inches apart, the rest of the world seemed to fade away. They were trapped in their own little bubble, the air around them thick with tension and unspoken desires."We should probably get going," Taehyung murmured reluctantly, breaking the spell. "We've got a busy day ahead."Jungkook nodded reluctantly, his body feeling heavy with disappointment. "Yeah," he mumbled. "I guess we should."
