Chan is quickly lulled to sleep by your soft, gentle stroking of his hair and his body immediately relaxes against yours as he drifts off to sleep. As you fall off to sleep yourself the events of the previous day immediately flash through his mind, bringing with them an overwhelming feeling of panic, hopelessness and grief.

His body suddenly twitches against yours and he lets out a soft whimper as the nightmare in his dreams seems to become more intense and more realistic. He mumbles incoherently against your skin, his hands balling into fists against your shirt.

Chan's body continues to twitch and shake against yours and a broken off cry falls from his lips before he abruptly goes still once again, a shiver running through his body as he slowly starts to wake up, his eyes flying open. He lets out a shaky breath, his heart racing and pounding in his chest as he slowly lets his mind come to terms with the fact that it was just a nightmare

Chan's breathing slowly starts to calm down as he looks at you, his expression still slightly panicked and upset at first before he slowly manages to calm himself down entirely, his body going slack once again against yours. He slowly shakes his head mumbling softly against your neck as he talks to himself.

"It... It felt so real..." Slowly, laying his head back down onto your chest, he immediately relaxes even more when he feels the steady thump of your heart under his ear. He lets out a shaky breath as he listens to the sound of your heartbeat, his hands slowly releasing their tight clenched grip on your shirt as he continues to listen, the sound confirming to him over and over again that you're really alive and you're really there with him.

Chan practically melts into your embrace, as he hears you mumble "Wolfie boy" in your sleep. The nickname you use for him leaving a fuzzy and warm feeling in his chest as a happy shiver passes through his body. He practically snuggles into you once again, nuzzling his face into your shoulder as he continues to listen to the sound of your heartbeat, the sound of it calming his still somewhat frazzled nerves and he mumbles softly against your skin once again.

Your mind plays tricks on you, replaying the memory of complete darkness, the intense cold and emptiness as you float dying.

Chan stays held tightly in your arms even as you fall into deeper into your own nightmare, his hands slowly clenching and unclenching against the fabric of your shirt, silently holding onto you as if he's terrified he'll wake up and you'll be gone again.

Through the bond Chan finds himself pulled, and is losing his way into your nightmare of you dying, watching the events of the previous evening play out again and again. This time he's not looking at the nightmare from his own perspective but rather he's watching himself through your eyes. He can feel the complete darkness, the intense cold and emptiness as you die. He watches himself holding you in his arms. He's so immersed in your pain that he doesn't even notice as you start to push away, not wanting him to be trapped here too. You kick him out of the nightmare, protecting him from the memory. You're left all alone in the nightmare, forced to relive the pain over and over again like you're completely stuck in a time loop. Watching and experiencing your own death over and over, every single time it feeling as raw and as painful as the first time it happened. Stripping you down.

Chan jolts awake, his body immediately shooting up from where he had his head resting as his eyes immediately dart around the room disoriented for a moment before they land on you and everything from the nightmare slowly comes back to him. He looks you up and down for signs of injury before he hesitantly reaches out and touches your shoulder gently and softly calls out to you, a mixture of worry and trepidation in his voice "Babygirl...?"

Chan notices the sweat starting to bead along your forehead and a sense of panic immediately floods through him, realizing that you are stuck in your nightmare of your own death and that it was you that had just kicked him out through the bond. He softly shakes your shoulder, a sense of urgent desperation in his voice for you to wake up and be okay.
