The sound of my Alarm startled me it is now 6:30 in the morning and I am getting ready for my first day of college.
Luckily I have pack my things from overnight.
After I spent 30 minutes in the bathroom I open the door to my bedroom and saw my mom standing in the kitchen making breakfast.
" Good morning mommy " I said with a smile.
" Good morning baby , mi make breakfast fi yuh , a yuh favourite " she replied.
She made me my favorite ...which is egg sandwich with chocolate tea ,it's been my favorite since I was 5 .
She shared out my breakfast and hands it to me .
"Thanks mom" I said with a smile as I sat around the island.
She sat in a chair around the island in front of me as I take a bite of my sandwich.
" mi cah believe seh mi baby a go college,". She said while she sip her mint tea.
Mommy don't worry mi ago mek u proud.
" Alrite mi baby , enjoy yuh first day a college". She said with a smile .
*beep*
I heard the sound of the bus outside and I rush in my room to get my bag .
" bye mommy " I said while running towards the bus.
I heard my mom says " call mi when yuh reach ". While I rushed out .
The bus drived off as soon as I reached in the bus , I sat beside a girl who has curly long hair.
My phone buzzed it was my bestfriend Aneika.
" hey bestie🤪 , where are you ?" She questions.
" I'm on the bus , where are you ? " I answered.
" I'm at the entrance of the school" Aneika says .
I just sent "OK"
As the bus enter Portmore Community College and parked in a parking lot the door pulled and I take up my bag standing, waiting for the other children to get out of the bus .
I spot neika under a tree taking selfies with her back turn to the direction I am walking .

" yes mommy mi just reach and mi see neika "I replied as I switched the call to video call.
I turn the camera around showing neika.
" wa gwan neika , yuh get thick thou " my mom smile as she admire neika.
"Yes Aunty Sash..a dat Tania a seh to" she replied with a little laugh on her face .
" Arite later mi nuh want uno late fi class . Aunty Sasha says .
" Lata mommy, love you " I blow a kiss.
*Call ends*
" OK, let's go because the bell soon ring" I said while walking as she joined.
Two and half later after the bell ring for lunch, the teacher dismisses us ... we went for lunch catching up.
After we buy our lunch we sat down at a bench suddenly a cute boy sat in a chair. two chair away from us .

" him cute fi true .... guh talk to him nuh" I whisper.
She went to the boy blushing and she tell the boy that she like him.
They shared number which each other.
The boy walked off and she sit back beside me .
" ahh !" she scream with excitement.
"Mi can't believe him give mi him numba ...pinch mi " she said while I pinch her.
"Ouch" she screams in pain .
" girll stop behave so , him not even text yuh yet....but mi happy fi yuh. I said.
" girl yuh nuh see how mi happy ....anyways we can go out tomorrow after school because mi wah go a Taquan party . She question.
" yes mi will come with yuh .. but mi ago mek mi mother know " I replied.
"Alrite girl " she says happily.
Taquan is our classmate from high school he is now going to UWI , Mi used to have a crush pon him but from him move from spanish town mi nuh hear back from him.... suh mi glad say mi a go a him party tomorrow.
