Tyler x Logan - The Sleepover

Chapter 6

Logan's POV:
"Logan, you shouldn't have to go through that alone love". Tyler said with a sad tone in his voice. I could tell he was genuinely sorry for me. But sadly their wasn't anything he could do to help me in my situation.

"I know you wanna help me Ty, but you being here is enough for me ok". I told him reassuringly, trying to comfort him. Tyler smiled and I continued. "Anyway, my grandparents always came home around 12 to 1pm because of work. So I was always home alone"-

"When I was a child I had to learn how to take care of myself. And that's what I did". "I'm assuming your grandparents were very neglectful". Tyler replied angrily, yet I could still see the sadness in his eyes.

"Y- yeah... they were". I replied back, shakily. I could feel tears well up in my eyes. I assumed Tyler could see it because he hugged me. "Logan, you don't have to continue alright love? You've gone through enough, I don't want you re-living that trauma".

Tyler's POV:
'Don't you worry Lo, I will take you away from your grandparents. No matter what the cost is'. I thought to myself, still hugging Logan.

"It's alright love, cry if you want to". I told him, Logan then started crying. "Shh it's ok, its ok. I'm here- I'm right here". He cried for a while then the nurse came back in. "Alright Mr. Fields is free to go home now. His grandparents have been arrested for child neglect and abuse".

I caught Logan smile, like genuinely smile. That was the first time I've seen it too, and I was happy for him. "Tyler just so you're aware Logan can live with you from now on". I thanked the nurse and smiled.

She walked out of the room. I picked up Logan and carried him to the car where my mom and Taylor were waiting. "Mom, I'm assuming the doctors told you about Logan right"? "Yes, Logan welcome to the family". My mom said, smiling.

(No one's POV)
They went back home and from this point forward, Tyler knew he had to protect Logan. As they approached their house, Tyler offered to have Logan share a room with him.

"Hey mom, do you mind if Logan stays in my room"? Tyler asked, "Yeah I don't mind". Mirranda replied back with a slight smile.
