Letter of the MoonI fell in love with the sun,
He lights up my world,
He warms my cold days,
He leaves me breathlessBut I can't be with him,
I can't hold him,
Nor be close to him
He's the only star in my eyes, but I'm not the only moonJupiter has hundreds of them;
It's a miracle if he even sees me
On Earth, I'm only visible at night
Always chasing his light, yet never quite catching itIn this endless dance,
I'll adore him from afar,
A silent witness to his brilliance,
Hoping the wind carries my yearning to himWhile I cast shadows and glow softly,
A pale echo of his fiery beauty,
I am the keeper of dreams,
He, the harbinger of dawnThough we may never touch,
Or share the same sky in union,
I find solace in our shared existence,
writing the poetry of the universeSo I will continue my silent vigil,
Orbiting, watching, loving from afar,
A moon enamored with a sun,
Destined to be apart, yet forever intertwined—StarlitMoon
