Saki's pov

From when I was little, my parents were my first heroes. But then life got more complicated with the existance of Kaiju's. They're not heroes nor villains, they just need guidance so that's where our real heroes come in. Ultraman and Ultrawoman. For as long as I could remember they protected us with their amazing powers to keep the city and everyone safe. It was called maintaining balance.

For 30 years my Mother and Professor Sato were my heroes. They saved Japan together, partners in crime as you might say. And eventually, that responsibility for making all those tough choices, deciding who mattered most fell onto me and Kenji and let's just say he wasn't happy about it.

20 years later

I cruised down the bustling hospital corridors, my white coat fluttering behind her. The scent of antiseptic and the low hum of medical equipment filled the air. My steps calm but purposeful as I moved from room to room, checking on patients and reviewing charts.

As I approached the nurse's station after doing my rounds, I glanced up at the row of television screens mounted on the wall. Usually they displayed hospital announcements or medical news but this one it caught my eye. A breaking news segment about a dominated player in the modern baseball world.

"For the last few weeks, one name has dominated the headlines in what is sure to be a historic moment in baseball. In just three days, Giants fans will welcome a legend to the New Tokyo Dome as Ken Sato returns to the land of his birth,"

The camera follows him from behind as he walks towards double doors, fans lined up on either side of him. The number 7 visible on his biker jacket.

"Now, please join me in welcoming him back to Japan, the newest member of our Giants family, Ken Sato!"

"Now, please join me in welcoming him back to Japan, the newest member of our Giants family, Ken Sato!"

Cheers erupt from the old tv sound system as the familiar face appears on the screen, "thanks for waiting folks!"

I roll my eyes and continue to make my rounds but my ears were still focused on the TV even if my eyes weren't fixated to it. His voice was alluring, it echoed throughout the hospital and it wasn't hard to zone it out.

"I do it for the fans"

"It's all about fundamentals"

"No, no, no. What I said was I am the greatest "living" player."

"Well, Otani can say whatever he likes."
