Evelyn's parents had let her stay at the Dursley's for a while, since they had some job buisness to do. She wasn't sure what it was, but it stressed her and Harry out. They both needed answers about their connection and since they've been so busy, they haven't had the time to ask them.
There was one particular day in which everything was very still and hot at Private Drive. Since they got nothing better to do, they decided to go to the park and as they had suspected it, no one else was there.
Evelyn wanted to ask Harry what was on his mind. He's been very quiet the whole time she has been with him. It was almost as if she wasn't even there with him.
He's been having nightmares, she knew because he screamed at night. She wanted to help him but she didn't know how. If he wasn't going to be open about it, she didn't want to be nosy either.
"Let's go to the swings!" She said trying to sound happy through the tension. He was basically dragged by her to the park, he clearly didn't want to do anything but she couldn't let him drown in his own missery.
Harry only nodded as he went with her, his eyes lost in thought. "Harry, I need you to talk to me. Don't shut me out."
But Harry didn't register her, all he did was look ahead. She looked at where he was looking and it was Dudley with his friends, or more like with his gang.
As he came closer to them, she could feel Harry's rage rising up. "Hey big D. Beat up another ten year old?"
"This one deserved it." Was all he said and the rest of the gang agreed with him.
"Harry- just leave him be-"
"Five against one, very brave." Harry really wasn't listening. She was starting to think that she really wasn't there at all.
"Well you're one to talk. Moaning in your sleep every night. At least I'm not afraid of my pillow." The rest of his squad laughed again as if it was something very funny but even Evelyn could feel Harry's rage. She knew though that it wasn't hers.
"Don't kill Cedric!" Oh now he's done it, thought Evelyn as the words came out of his mouth. "Who's Cedric? Your boyfriend?"
Evelyn's heart broke at the thought of Cedric, how he was doing right now. They have not received any news on his condition and she was fearing the worst.
"Shut up." Harry managed to say, now Evelyn's heart racing too.
"Dudley, stop." Evelyn said as she stood up, ready to fight him if necessary.
"Awww is your girlfriend going to defend you? Honestly Potter, I'm confused, are you bi? Is that why you're so weak that you can't fight me?" Evelyn was ready to throw the first punch but Dudley continued. "He's going to kill me mom! Where's your mom? Where is your mom Potter? She dead?"
Evelyn didn't think twice anymore as she punched him, the other guys were ready to throw a punch at her as well but Harry stopped them. Or at least she thought it was Harry.
The enviroment turned grey very quickly, very heavy wind started to be felt around them, papers flying all around. "Harry- what are you doing?" Evelyn asked, since she thought it was him at first.
"Nothin, I swear." He said taking her by surprise. If he wasn't doing anything, then how is this happening?
"We're getting out of here!" Dudley's friends said as they all ran, leaving the three of them alone.
Evelyn's heart was beating so fast, she didn't know what to do. Why was this happening?
The three of them started running as they saw the gigantic black cloud form on the sky. It started to rain heavily on them and she felt so cold.
