One Month Passed.

Jesenia made it to Ionia after a few days and told Sett everything that has happen. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan help the Wens settle down at the mountains after what has happen. Lan Xichen...well, getting tortured by his clan until he ran away. People are looking for him right now. Many days has passed and no sign of him.

Jiang Clan. Main House.

Jiang Cheng: (Thinking.) *Where could he be? He didn't killed Jin Zixuan. He would never do that. If he did, he would've done it, a long time ago.* (Heavy sigh.) *And Zewu-Jun... he knows where they are, but people are still for him since he got missing.*

Jiang Yanli: (Enter.) A'Cheng, anything?

Jiang Cheng: (Shaking his head.) No. Nothing. I'm still looking for him. I promise, I will find him.

Jiang Yanli: I hope A'Xian's ok.

Jiang Cheng: Me too, Jie. Me too.

Jiang Disciples #1: (Enter in.) Sect Leader, the water in Lotus Pier Lake, it's turning red.

Jiang Cheng: WHAT?! Jie, stay here! (Get up and exit the house with the disciples.)

Jiang Yanli: (Panting.)

The Lake.

Everyone see the lake turning red. Jiang Cheng took a look around.

Jiang Cheng: What the... (Feels it.) Blood... (See a body. Gasp.) Stay here! (Dive in. Swim to it. Grab the body and bring it to shore. Get out of the water with the body. Coughing.)

Jiang Disciples #2: Clan Leader!

Jiang Cheng: (Turn the body around and see... Gasp.) Zewu-Jun? (Not feeling a pulse. Start to do CPR.)

Jiang Cheng kept performing CPR, refusing to give up. Then Lan Xichen cough out tons of gush of water.

Jiang Cheng: There you go, there you go. Good. Good. (See blood on his hand. See Lan Xichen's back. Eyes widen.) Get a physician over here, now!

Jiang Disciples #3: Yes, Clan Leader! (Run to ger the physician.)

Jiang Cheng carry Lan Xichen to the main house. The physician arrived and started to work on Lan Xichen. Hours passed, Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng still waiting for the physician to finish up.

Physician: (Exit the room.) Sect Clan Leader, Zewu-Jun has deep cuts on his backs but lucky he survived.

Jiang Cheng: Good, anything else?

Physician: He just needs to rest up for a while. He'll wake up sooner. Excuse me? (Exit the main house.)

Jiang Yanli: Thank goodness.

Jiang Cheng: Jiang Feng!

Jiang Feng: (Enter and bow down.) Yes, Clan Leader.

Jiang Cheng: Make sure no one says anything about Zewu-Jun in the Jiang Clan. Are we clear?

Jiang Cheng: Yes, Clan Leader. (Exit.)

Jiang Yanli: A'Cheng, are you sure about this?

Jiang Cheng: Whoever cause this, they're not playing around. They hurt Zewu-Jun for  good reason. We have to protect him.

Jiang Yanli: Ok, I'll make some food for him.

Jiang Cheng: Ok.

Few hours passed. Inside the room. Jiang Yanli enter the room with food and place it on the table. Jiang Cheng watching over him.

Lan Xichen: (Opening his eyes slowly. Groan in pain. Sitting up.)

Jiang Cheng: (See him. Gasp.) Zewu-Jun, easy, you're still healing.

Lan Xichen: (Have a headache.) Where...am I?

Jiang Cheng: You're ok. You're in the Lotus Pier.

Lan Xichen: Oh, Clan Leader Jiang... (Tried to get up. Yell in pain.)

Jiang Yanli: Be careful. The wounds on your back haven't been heal yet. It's gonna take a while until you fully heal up.

Jiang Cheng: (Support him.) She's right. Take it easy. Jie made you some food and some medicine for your back. You might stay in bed until your healed.

Lan Xichen: I can't stay. People are looking for me.

Jiang Cheng: No one is gonna look for you while your here. Everything will be fine. Now, you can tell me what happen.

Jiang Yanli: But it's ok if you don't want to.

Lan Xichen: (Taking deep breaths.) It's fine. Well...

Lan Xichen explain everything to them. Jiang Cheng was furious and Jiang Yanli was shocked, that she had to sit down for a bit.

Jiang Cheng: Ok, everything will be fine. You're safe. And no one can hurt you. Jie here will give you your food. I'm gonna pull a few strings and everything will be fine.

Lan Xichen: Wait. (Pull out a map and give it him.) It's a map to where Wangi, Jesenia and Wei gongzi is.

Jiang Cheng: (Grab it.) Thank you. I'll be right back. (Exit the room.)

Jiang Yanli: Be careful. (Grab a bowl and give it Lan Xichen.) Here you go. Try to eat something.

Lan Xichen: (Grab it.) Thank you. (Start to eat.) It's good. (Continue to eat.)

At the Mountains.

Jiang Cheng arrived to the mountain safety. 

Jiang Cheng: A'Xian! Lan Wangi! Lady Lan!

Inside the cave. Everyone eating until they heard Jiang Cheng voice. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying got up and exit the cave. Jiang Cheng see them and sigh in relief.

Wei Ying: Jiang Cheng... What are you doing here?

Jiang Cheng: Listen, if you think that I'm here to kill you, that's not why I am here. I'm just here to tell you, this isn't your fault. I knew that. I always knew that. But they said if they think I'm on your side, they will kill everyone. Even A'Jie and Jin Ling.

Wei Ying: (Panting.)

Jiang Cheng: I just want to make sure you're ok. And to tell you that none of this wasn't your doing.

Wei Ying: Jiang Cheng, you have no idea. I'm glad you believe me.

Jiang Cheng: Anything for my brother. Where's Lady Lan?

Lan Zhan: We send her to Ionia. It's the only safe place to be.

Jiang Cheng: Good. Lan Wangi, your brother. He's in my clan and... (Heavy sigh.) I don't think you're gonna be happy about it.

Lan Zhan: What do you mean?

Jiang Cheng: ...(Sigh.) Your brother was tortured by your clan. He wouldn't give up the location and...he got it really bad. His back is filled with whips, scars, and he has some broken bone. But we're healing him right now.

Lan Zhan: (Panting.) Thank you. Tell him, we're ok. Both of us. And Jesenia.

Jiang Cheng: I will. I'll see you guys next time. (Leave the area.)

Wei Ying: Lan Zhan, are you ok?

Lan Zhan: (Panting.) This is terrible. My uncle, he did this, just because he helped us. I don't know how he's gonna handle this. But I'll message Jesenia.

Wei Ying: Ok, come on. Let's get back inside.

They went back inside. Jiang Cheng returned to the clan and check on Lan Xichen. He see him sleeping and Jiang Yanli prepare some food.

Jiang Yanli: Oh, A'Cheng. How is....

Jiang Cheng: A'Xian is ok, thank goodness. Same with Lan Wangi and Lan Jesenia.

Jiang Yanli: (Sigh in relief.) Uhm, Zewu-Jun is resting right now. What should we do?

Jiang Cheng: (Look at Lan Xichen. Sigh.) No one can know about this. Not even the Lan Clan. He stays here with us. That's all.

Jiang Yanli: I'll tell the guards.
