The next line

Chapter 2: Reunion

Allen woke up the next time and found himself lying on a bed in a room he didn't recognize.

"Where am I." He thought and tried remembering what what happened but couldn't really remember since he was drunk. He looked outside the window and saw that it was still in the night.
"Whatever happened I guess it hasn't been that long." He said and tried to get up but then he felt something on his chest. No, someone's head on his chest. He looked over to the person and widened his eyes in shock. He couldn't believe it. That hair. That hair he never thought of seeing again. Then he remembered what happened. The person who kicked him. No wonder the kick was so strong enough to knock him out. But then he was drunk so that could have also been part of the reasons. He tried getting up without waking her up and succeeded in doing so and placed Lenalee's head on the bed. He turned to leave but before he could even get close to the window, something bit his ear. He almost screamed but held his mouth to avoid doing so. He looked to his chest to see Timcanpy trying to push him back.

"Tim, stop. I can't get close to them. I don't want Neah to take control over me when I'm with them. And I don't want Apocryphos to find me when I'm with them either. You were there right? You saw what he did. He can get here any moment. I-"

"Allen-kun". He was interrupted by that same voice he heard last night. That voice he hadn't heard of in two years until last night. He turned around to see Lenalee staring at him.
"Where are you going?". Her expression had changed a lot. He couldn't believe it. What had he done to her. It was like he was looking at a totally different person. Tears were flowing down her cheeks as new ones began forming in Allen's eyes. But instead of answering he just turned around and jumped through the window landing softly on the ground and bursting with a tremendous speed. Lenalee couldn't believe how fast he had gotten within two years. But not today. She wasn't going to allow Allen to leave her again. She quickly activated her innocence and also jumped out towards Allen. He realized that Lenalee was getting closer and closer to him so he had to do something quickly. He turned to a nearby alley and opened an ark gate at a far distance. He said it himself that he wouldn't rely on the ark anymore but he was tired of running away from Apocryphos so he used the ark as his hideout. But before he could jump in.

"ALLEEEEEEEEN, WAIIIIIT, DON'T GOOO. Please............ don't leave me again." It sounded like she was going to cry at any moment. When Allen heard that, he stopped in his tracks and Lenalee stopped behind him.

"Lenalee, please......... just........... let me go. I don't want you to get involved in my problems. Anything can happen and you might get hurt. I don't want that to happen. Please........"

"I DON'T CARE". She shouted making Allen turn his head to look at her with wide opened eyes.

"Lenalee." He said as tears began forming in his eyes. Then he turned around to face her while looking down. "You don't understand Lenalee. There's something out there hunting for me. It wants to merge with me and my innocence. And it'll hurt anyone who stands in its way. That's why I don't want you to get involved." He said as he lifted up his head to look at her with tears streaming down his face. Lenalee had some kind of shocked expression on her face.
"I don't want anyone to get hurt. Especially you. I won't be able to forgive myself if something happened to you. To any of you. I don't know what to do Lenalee. I don't know what to do." He said with more tears flowing down his face as he looked down once more.
And all of a sudden his skin turned black and his eye orbs turned yellow as his noah tried taking over. Lenalee was terrified as she was looking at Allen struggling to keep Neah inside of him( I don't really know if that's the correct spelling of the noah inside of Allen's name. Please forgive me on that). But then, Lenalee knew what she had to do although it was risky. She was putting her life on it. She gathered all the courage she had and started walking towards him.
"S-STAY BACK. PLEASE DON'T COME CLOSE TO ME. GET AWAY FROM ME."Allen said but she ignored the fact that she might actually get hurt and continued walking towards him.
"STAY BACK LENALEE. PLEASE. I don't want to hurt you. I won't be able to stand you getting hurt by my own body. Please stay back. Run away." She still continued walking towards her not minding the fact that he might get hurt her. He kept telling her to get back whilst she also ignored it and kept walking towards him until she was right in front of him. When Allen realized, she had wrapped her hands around him giving him a tight hug.

"I'll never leave you like I did again. Like that day I left you to face Suman alone. It regretted leaving you like that. So I'll never make that same mistake again. Ever. Allen-kun, I want to help you. Please. Just let me help you." She said as she started sobbing on Allen's shoulder.
It took a moment but Allen managed to hug her back as his eyes and skin turned back to normal.

"Okay. I'll let you help me." Allen said as he pulled back with a reassuring smile. It made Lenalee feel so relaxed. It's been so long since she saw that smile.
"But I can't go back to the order right now. I have to settle things with Neah first. And I have to do something about that thing chasing me. Plus, I have to save Lavi and Bookman. They were captured because of me. If the Earl didn't come for me in the first place, all this wouldn't have happened." He said as he looked down with guilt on his face. But Lenalee just placed her right hand on his left cheek and started caressing his face making him look at her surprised.

"Don't blame yourself Allen-kun. You didn't mean for any of this to happen right? The only person we're supposed to blame is the Earl. He's responsible for this. Not you. Do stop blaming yourself." Allen didn't know what to say at the moment but he felt relieved. Then he smiled as tears started flowing down his face again as he wrapped his hands around Lenalee hugging her once more.

"Arigatou(A Japanese word meaning thank you) Lenalee. Thank you so much." Allen said still hugging her. He didn't want to let go. It just felt so good. It wasn't until his left eye activated.
"An akuma." He said

(Allen's left eye activated. It allows him to see the soul of an Akuma. It automatically activates on its own when there is an Akuma nearby)

But Allen was too late as an attack was sent their way. It was a purple laser. Lenalee saw it on time and pushed Allen away as the attack hit her. She was sent flying into a wall and fell unconscious after that.

"You bastard." Allen shouted as he  activated his innocence. It was a level three Akuma.

(Allen's innocence is his claw which is on his left arm and the white cape wrapped around his body).

He then jumped towards the Akuma  as the Akuma kept shooting multiple lasers from his palm and Allen kept dodging.
'That must be it's ability. Shooting laser from his palms. Then in that case.' " Clown belt." Allen shouted as a  belt formed from a part of his cape and shot towards the Akuma and piercing through its head destroying it.
After Allen defeated the Akuma, he went and carried Lenalee taking her back to her room where he found himself earlier.
